She created a contextualized learning experience for my daughter by getting to know her first. She then brought in examples of successful math practitioners that reflected my daughter's background and interest. What do you love most about your job?
The ah-hah moment people have when they are learning and understanding mathematics. That is what I enjoy. I love helping people who believe they are not good at math, become good at math.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted a platform that was specific to my mission of equity in math education. And I was tired of paying host tutoring platforms part of my income :)
Now I am in control of my brand and income so it's pretty neat.

All remote (online) because I want to be able to help people from all around the world.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Remote work. It helps lessen the spread of COVID-19 as well as slow the continued growth of an already very large carbon footprint.
K-8 Math Tutoring
Book 40 minutes for $14 or 1 hour for $21. My services are quite affordable for the level of math experience I bring. I have a masters in mathematics and 30+ years of teaching and tutoring. I know what students need to know to be successful in college and encourage my K-12 students to strive for STEM excellence. Equity in math education is important so I keep my prices affordable.
High School Math Tutoring
Book 40 minutes for $14. If more time is needed there are packages that you can purchase to save money.
