This is our new neighborhood spot. The vibe is cozy and authentic, really cool quirky historic Scottish stuff on the walls. Good cocktail and beer list. Our food was excellent - shepherds pie and the burger. Both were amazing. More...

The classic-American dining hall sits at the heart of midtown, a block away from the Times Square. At this restaurant, both staffs and customers seem to put apropos attention to the tradition it bears. The hospitality was remarkable indeed and our food as well. However, the serving--probably cooking--time took unseemly long. More...

Amazing Night! This was the first meal my girlfriend and I had after being engaged that afternoon. The food was incredible, everything from the oysters to the carpaccio and burrata salad, then finishing with an incredible steak was outstanding! This meal was one of the best I have ever eaten. Carlos our waiter made sure we were well taken care of, he even sent us dessert and champagne after our meal to celebrate our engagement. Still made sure we were out in time to make our play. Thank you all for a unforgettable dinner after an Amazing Day.Highly Recommended!!!!! More...

We really enjoyed this pre-theater restaurant. The hostess was great and noted that we were going to catch a show so that the service team knew to get us out on time. Great drinks and wine list with knowledgeable staff. Bread is very food, lobster gnocchi OK, carpaccio great, steaks and chicken excellent. Deserts also very well done. Atmosphere is elegant and noise level just right. More...

Classy restaurant and bar with restrained but not stifling atmosphere and unusually warm service particularly at the bar. Excellent layered cocktails and creative bar bites are actually a bit more interesting than the staid menu . But that dining room is a quiet, understated beauty - perfect for a romantic night out. Had a business lunch here during a conference at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. It was a short walk away. The restaurant has an upscale feel with a nice bar after the entrance which leads way into the large dining room. The menu is a bit pricey, but we caught it during restaurant week where I got clams and small steak for 26 bucks. Great feel and service. I would recommend this place and return there. More...

I went there for lunch and it was very good. I had the burnt lemon chicken which was a very generous portion and more importantly very tasty. They do have a 3 course prix fixe lunch menu at around $44 if I remember right. The bar looks great and seems like I would be a great evening place so I plan to go back for drinks to see what the ambiance is like. The setting is classy and was not busy on a Tuesday lunch time. Fantastic service and very attentive to the fact we had to make it to the theater. The food was so delicious. And the sundae was literally awesome. They brought over two trays filled with fresh toppings and made the sundae to my daughters specifications table side. This was more than a meal. This was an experience. We will be back! More...

I suppose most people come for the flesh but I wanted fish that night and I was very pleased. Salmon pastrami was rich and robust, and the swordfish was a nicely-done hunk of firm, delicately-flavored meat cooked through but still moist.
Also the wine recommendation was quite nice. Service was attentive and unrushed but got us out the door in plenty of time for our show.
Since it is the "HUNT and Fish" club I had hoped for more game items, such as buffalo, venison or elk. But that may not be easy to get so far east. Anyway, I'll have to go back for the beef.

We started off a little uncertain, due to the fact that our reservation was at 9pm for six. By 9:20 We were still waiting and having drinks in the bar. They started to comp our drinks. Another 20 minutes went by.....yes we were disappointed. The manager came over to apologize. He offered all appetizers and desserts free. Let's just say it was worth the wait....The food was amazing. Our waiter Matthew was perfect. I will go back. I highly recommend this restaurant...... More...

We take the kids ever year to city for Christmas this was our first time here . Crowded to say the least our reservations were at 7 within about 10 mins we were seated . Service was very good and attentive . Lobster Bisque , and the Bacon for Apps .For my daughter they accommodated her nicely with a small choice which was not in menu and a shrimp cocktail with shrimp the largest I have seen in a while she ate it all!! My son and husband shared the porterhouse for two and nothing left LOL . My lemon chicken was so delicious!! With wine , our espressos at the end and of course the chocolate layer cake and Louis XIII ice cream to finish everything off . This was a great night !!! More...

The food was fine, but our server seemed more than a little checked out. She may have forgotten to put a part of our order in, and she responded to a question about a martini with something like "I don't think we have that.
I could check with the bar if you really want me to." - Just not the enthusiastic or proactive response that would have seemed more likely from a server at that caliber a restaurant.
The result of the delay (there was a forty-five minute window between salads and entrees) was that we had to wolf our food down to make a theater curtain. We asked our server for an update at one point, as we were getting into "time trouble" and, without making an effort to check with the kitchen, she told us it was because one of us had asked for his steak medium well rather than medium or medium rare. We were struck by the flippant and unlikely reply. While we didn't complain, the manager, realizing what had happened, did come over and offer desserts and coffee if we were willing to return after the play. We didn't return, but that counts for a lot.
We will try this place again, and I hope we will have a better experience.

The perfect way to describe Hunt and Fish Club is directly from their website “Our goal is to bring back the character and depth of old school NY in a contemporary setting. We’ve worked hard to create a space that Sinatra would have been spotted at; a cut above the rest with rare design, signature cuisine, and distinct style of service that makes everyone feel special when they walk in the door.” From the minute I walked in I felt exactly that! The shinning star of Hunt and Fish is Giampaolo, he makes sure your every need it taken care of! It is an absolute must visit when you are in NYC! More...

It has the perfect upscale, intimate vibe that makes you forget we are in Times Square! Giampaolo makes every customer feel as if they are the most important in the restaurant, and that combined with the consistently amazing food makes Hunt and Fish my favorite place. More...

Hunt and Fish Club is one of my favorite restaurants in New York. Working in the area, I would walk past it regularly, and after about a million times, a few co-workers and I wanted to go out for some drinks and appetizers, and we tried Hunt and Fish. Needless to say we were blown away! Everything was absolutely amazing. Giampaolo took care of us and made us feel like we were family!! I definitely recommend trying their specialty cocktails, and taking a look at their extensive wine list! Since that day, Hunt and Fish has become our go-to spot for after work drinks and dinner! I recently went to Hunt and Fish with a colleague of mine, who is a frequent guest, and has always been telling me to go. When we arrived we had a few cocktails at one of the few tables in the bar area (which is an amazing area to people watch), and then went and sat at our table . My friend introduced me to Giampaolo who really went above and beyond to make our dinner really special (which made a great first impression of the restaurant). From drinks to dessert everything was perfect! The booths in the corners of the dining room are a perfect table (and my personal favorite) when you order too many appetizers because you have to try everything! More...

The decor it’s beautiful and especially the chandelier in the main dining room.
Chefs tables are a very good deal...you must book it trough Giampaolo and if you want to book private parties u must speak with Kristin the event coordinator. The tater tots are amazing and the special tomahawk with white truffle it’s the best steak we ever had in our life. We will be back next week for my 5 years anniversary w my wife

A presto ragazzi siete fantastici
