Terrible cleaning service. The first time they came they did a good job. Since then they have gotten worse and worse every month. They are late every time. They forget to do things that are ordered. They rush through my house in 40 minutes which is why they do a terrible job. Their billing system is awful so I resorted to giving them cash. Moving on and finding a better service. More...

I was not totally happy with my service, but the manager offered to send someone new back out immediately and did everything they could to rectify the situation. The manager was empathetic and took the appropriate steps to make it right. Maybe a different set of employees do a better job. Great experience! I have a very complicated busy life and needed my apartment deep cleaned. They were available on short notice and fit my schedule. I am getting ready to sell my house and wanted to get a good cleaning for it. I added the deep clean, fridge, oven, and cupboard options . When the two cleaners came I specifically told them and reminded them later that I really wanted the floors cleaned , mainly, the kitchen and both bathrooms . None were done! I’m in a wheelchair and those are the hardest for me to do, that’s why I asked twice for them to do them. You can also see that my blinds were not cleaned. This was our first time using this company to clean our house and I am very satisfied.  I really appreciated the online quote and the online scheduling. Like many people using a cleaning service I am really busy and I find it overwhelming when other companies need to come in and see the place before they tell me how much it's going to cost. Jennifer and Allison did an awesome job cleaning my place!  Everything looks great--from sinks to floors to surfaces.  I paid $25 extra to get the inside of my oven cleaned, and it has not looked so clean since it was brand new app. 15 years ago....  My bathrooms are sparkling, and my floors look great!  I just called yesterday, and they were able to schedule a cleaning for today. This was a terrible experience. I asked this company to come before the holidays and they had an opening for dec. 22 I think. They sent one woman for two beds two baths 1000+ sq ft deep clean, with a prepaid tip, above $200. When I came home I barely noticed that she cleaned. I was lied the house and noticed the photos below. Wes the rep said "the maids cleaned under the items". My thought was then put them back messily?! Not true. These are obvious proofs of not cleaning. Looking closer I saw dirt in places expected clean. I emailed the photos to the company and they said the maid could come rectify the issue. I told them my wife and I would fix it ourselves and I asked for a discount at least. Wes called me and informed me that that the maid was on her way to my house at night to rectify the issue because I told him "I'd be home" but never asked for her to come, I asked for a discount. Finally, we agreed on a discount (half) and hung up. <br>He called me an hour or so later and said "the maid was really counting on the money for Christmas and wants to come again". She'd have to clean the entire house again because I'm lost at what she cleaned to begin which we did not have time for. <br>For respect for the maid I won't include her name. I believe it's the company who failed me and their rep for not sending the appropriate amount of people or providing the time to do the job right and not condemning the clean as soon as I showed the pictures. <br>Lastly I feel it bares saying I have cleaning people come frequently and have never previously had an issue. Save your money. You're guaranteed a surface clean, at best. We scheduled a deep clean service with additional tasks added on for an extra charge but our team didn't so much as take the runner off the dining room table to clean underneath it.  Nothing was pulled from the floor to clean, no step stool used to reach the full kitchen cabinets, dust was left on furniture and fixtures went untouched- all extras we paid for to ensure we received a deep clean. My apartment was a mess because of renovations happening in apartments on my floor (dust everywhere and just plain messy). Sandra did an amazing job with the deep clean. She even did the dishes and folded clothes for me. I'm picky and she asked me if there was anything that she'd missed and there was nothing that I could find. She took the trash out, organized my things and was very friendly.  She was on time and spent over 3 hours (despite being told two by Wes). I'm a happy customer and I definitely look forward to making this a more permanent arrangement. Another case where the second cleaning didn't live up to the first. So, first the good. The kitchen was cleaned fairly well, with the exception of one or two spots on the kitchen island that could have used a better scrub. The bathrooms are spotless. Bedrooms dusted and vacuumed. Windows washed as requested. So, that's the good.

The bad? They didn't clean up the floor cleaner properly, and the apartment was a smudgy, streaky mess within 30 minutes of coming home. Looks significantly worse than BEFORE the cleaning. Our area rug? Not vacuumed properly, dirt and dust visible at a glance. The oven and refrigerator service that I was uncharged for? Just not done. Plain and simple, wasn't touched. End tabled and coffee tables? Not wiped down properly.

Did I get my money's worth for a nearly $300 cleaning? Absolutely not. More...

I hired House Keep-Up for a deep clean of my kitchen plus a couple other areas right before my wedding, for my fiancée to move into a very clean place. The kitchen deep clean was critical, because my fiancée has Celiac, so I needed all traces of gluten removed from every nook and cranny of my kitchen for the health and safety of my soon-to-be wife. She has a highly sensitive case of Celiac, so cross contamination of even a crumb getting into her food can make her ill.

First, out of the more than 10 companies I contacted or got bids from, HKU was by far the most communicative and easiest to work with. They were very clear and honest in terms of what was or was not included, which made it easy to calculate the value, and developed trustworthiness right away. This is in stark contrast to literally every other company I spoke with, as it was like pulling teeth trying to get the others to clarify what they were or were not willing/able to do.

Because of the crucial gluten component, the person I worked with via Thumbtack worked with me to create a custom package (at a highly competitive value) that would ensure a sufficient and safe level of cleanliness for my fiancée. The ease of their booking process already made them stand out far from the rest.

Then, the service itself . . .

Sandra was the person who cleaned. She was very friendly and worked extremely hard. I walked her through what had been agreed upon, and she listened carefully, and took the Celiac thing very seriously. She did an incredibly thorough job on my kitchen, cleaning every possible corner and doing all the little extra things that made it clear that she really cared.

The cleaning time took longer than what the dispatcher had estimated, which was not a problem at all, because Sandra stayed until every last thing was done, and even did a couple extra things just to deliver extra high quality work!

Within a half hour of Sandra's departure, a woman from HKU called me to make sure I was happy with the work, saying that she was prepared to send Sandra back if there was anything I felt was not completed. Quite the contrary, I told her: the work was excellent.

From their price/package quoting to the service to the follow-up, this company stands out as a stellar option, and if I ever need to hire a cleaning company again, I will use them, and I will recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone who is looking for a cleaning service. More...

First time I ever received cleaning services in my home, I was always just nervous to do so. I woke up Monday morning, searched and found this company and let me tell you IT WAS GREATEST choice I made! They came out the same day Sandra and her husband were very nice they  came in an got straight to work. If something is not right they will take the effort and will send someone out to re-clean. After several flops, we finally found our dream team. Jennifer and Freddy were great!! They were very thorough and detailed. I appreciated their organizing, and attention to small details  (folding clothes, gathering  coins, organizing counter). **Update 1/19** Changed from 1 star to 3 because the company was very quick to respond and offer to help the situation by sending out a re-clean service and crews to repair damage left behind.  They did a great job communicating even after hours.  However with the experience I did have I cannot leave a 5 star.<br><br>Unfortunately I had to clean my home immediately after having this service "clean" my home.  I was very excited to give this company a shot based on the 5 star reviews however the lack of reviews should have leveled my excitement a bit.  I do feel the company does a great job communicating because I had spoken to Wes 2x prior to my booking to be sure I had all my questions answered. As well as another woman who called to confirm my appointment. This review is a direct reflection of the quality of the cleaning service.  I opted for a regular cleaning which to my understanding included their 40+ item check list.  However, as soon as I opened my front door I could see the floor was still dirty and dusty. I began to check over the bedroom and living room and found the bedroom to be the dirtiest.  All surfaces in the bedroom and living room were left dusty.  Hair, dust, dirt and other spots were also visible throughout the floor surfaces in every room.  Counter tops in the bathroom were also still left dusty.  It was nice of her to clean the 1 cup, fork and knife I had left in the sink before leaving (that was unexpected) but its hard for me to accept the fact that I was left with dirty floors and countertops after a cleaning.  I wish the outcome would have been different.  For the price and quality of service I received from the one lady "team" that came to clean my apartment, I feel there are PLENTY of other services and individuals out there and unfortunately do not recommend this company. Jen and Freddy are amazing! Seriously... this was the best decision my husband and I have ever made. We work full time, are always running around for sports, and having to clean the house all the time just drives us nuts! We felt like we never had any quality time to spend together. Well, NOT ANYMORE!!! It is the BEST feeling ever to come home to a clean house. And they don't just "clean". You come home to a house so clean it's almost like staying at a 5 Star Resort! Did I mention We have 2 animals and their hair is everywhere?!?! It's enough to drive you insane! Idk how they get it all up but they do! Jennifer and Antonia were amazing! They spent over four hours doing a deep clean of our apartment. Everything looks amazing. They went above and beyond, they even reorganized areas of our kitchen and bedroom that made us realize that our organizational skills are severely lacking... Our previously disgusting tub is sparkling clean, and the idea of a bath in it no longer makes my skin crawl. The two years of caked on food on the stove top, which was so glued on that I thought it had become necessary to the integrity of the stove, has miraculously been removed.
