How long have you been in business?
I have been in business since February 2017. I started out as a sole proprietor. Houchens' Housekeeping became an LLC on November 30, 2021.
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
Yes, we bring our own equipment and supplies to every service location, unless customer requests otherwise.
What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to give properties a fresh, clean look that will leave a lasting impression!
What inspired you to start your own business?
In 2014 I was in a car accident. I underwent 2 neck surgeries as a result and was told I wouldn't be able to find a job suitable for me, to apply for Social Security Disability Insurance. I refused to be dependent upon the government and went into business doing what I know how to do best... Clean! Also, I come from a very long line of housekeepers so, it's in my DNA!

No. Being as this is a cleaning company, all services are done in-person at the site location. Online and remote services are only available for consultations.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
All employees wear masks and gloves. We use cleaners and sanitizers that kill Covid-19. Also, we're now offering electrostatic sanitizing services on a one-time, routine, and/or emergency basis to help fight the spread of Covid-19 and many other viruses.
Commercial/ Office Cleaning
Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum; disinfect and sanitize break rooms, bathrooms, and desks/phones; wipe down appliances; wash interior windows; trash removal to outside trash containers. Additional services available at an extra charge.
Residential cleaning
Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, disinfect and sanitize all countertops, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, baseboards, kitchen and bathrooms
Carpet cleaning
Shampoo and steam carpets
Floor buffing/polishing
Buff and polish floors in small commercial and residential properties
Post-construction Clean-up
You build it up, we clean it up! We clean post-construction job sites to get them ready for their grand opening!
Electrostatic Sanitizing
We will come out and use a handheld electrostatic mister to sanitize your home, 99.9% effective against Covid-19 and many other viruses such as influenza, MRSA, hepatitis, SARS-CoV-2, et al.
