Let me begin by saying as the mother and father of the bride we had very high expectations for our daughter's wedding. Lindsey exceeded our highest expectations and we would not change one thing as we reflect back on the wedding weekend. To be more specific, Lindsey worked with our daughter who lives in L.A. which was 2400 miles from the wedding venue. The wedding ceremony was on the beach followed by a reception on our property off the coast of South Carolina for 250 guests. After 6 weeks of sunshine the weather shifted the day of the wedding to rain followed by more rain and Lindsey had to develop a back up plan and execute if needed. Her execution was "drama free" and flawless.Many of our friends still speak of the wedding as the best they have ever attended and it was 100% due to Lindsey and her attention to every detail! She guided us in the selection of vendors but always provided multiple options, was mindful of budget and always updated us along the way. She was in to the details and extremely resourceful when we needed to make a change in the plans. Her website tracked our progress on each work stream which kept us all on teh same page. All of her recommended vendors and staff were outstanding!To make her job more difficult we threw her a curve ball midway through planning. We decided to hire a "headline" singer to perform at the ceremony and reception and she negotiated with his agent and ensured he and his crew arrived from Africa with no issues.We highly recommend Lindsey and her team. She became a part of our family and we will always consider her a trusted adviser and friend. If we could give her 10 stars we would! She is the best. More...

Where do I even begin with how absolutely wonderful Lindsey/Host and Haven is - I can't say enough good things. Every girl imagines how their fairytale wedding will play out and Lindsey made all my dreams come true and FAR exceeded my expectations. Living in Southern California and planning a wedding across the country in South Carolina, I never once worried because I knew Lindsey had everything handled. In the beginning I explained what my vision was and what our style is and Lindsey took that and turned it into real life. She can not only pull from past her past planning experiences, but with her design background she is more creative and thinks out of the box. One thing we always wanted was to get married on the beach, the day of our wedding it was pouring rain and Lindsey always had a plan and was cool, calm and collected the entire time, which is what every bride wants on their wedding day (and we ended up getting a 30 minute window of no rain for the ceremony!).  From start to finish she made the planning of the wedding fun, easy and extremely organized. Not only were my husband and I extremely pleased, my parents loved working with her as well. In addition to her services, her entire team and all the vendors she picked for our wedding were more than fantastic. Working with Lindsey at Host and Haven has been a dream!! I am very particular and had challenging design needs and Lindsey was able to make all my design wishes come true. I think what sets Lindsey apart from other designers is that she is able to get to know her clients and their styles very easily which makes all of her projects look so unique and different. Lindsey's designs are timeless and never cookie cutter but fit into the different lifestyle needs of her clients seamlessly. On top of that Lindsey is organized and the process of working with her is stress free. Not only has Lindsey made my life significantly easier and saved me tons of time, I feel so happy every time I walk into my house that she has custom designed to fit my style and needs.
