Employed there for a year approximately as nurse. Clients who are seniors and mentally or medically compromised receive excellent care there. For 4-8 hours a day Monday-Friday clients are provided with breakfast and lunch, arts and crafts, bible study, games, exercise, music and wide range of fun and safety. More...

We sought out Adult daycare reluctantly due to the name of “daycare” and the images it conjured up of a non- active and solemn environment. It became apparent after several months that we needed more care for my wife when she started struggling with recognizing unsafe situations and subsequently had a bad fall. We are battling with a young onset Dementia called Frontotemporal Dementia. At 53, she wasn’t interested in going to a place where everyone was older (or daycare in general). We looked at a couple of different daycares, most fitting the previous description then found HOPE. The administrator, Ms. Kenya Johnson was warm and kind and had a different vision and approach to daycare including partnering with BROOKS rehab and getting folks outdoors to surf, kayak, go to the beach and other outings. I thought it was a little crazy at first but they have multiple staff and volunteers through BROOKS and HOPE to keep everyone safe. It fit the bill for the active environment I wanted for my most precious companion. After being at HOPE for 2 months, we have fallen in love with the staff and especially Kenya. She takes personal interest in each person and they are all very special to her. My wife looks forward to going and when she walked in this morning after the holiday break, told everyone she missed them. I know she is in a safe and active place that has games and dancing and caring, attentive people who care as much as I do. They specialize in dementia unlike many of the other daycares. I really wish we had done this months ago. More...

I have witnessed this facility providing great care to people with disabilities. I strongly believe in this company so much that I have volunteered when I can. During my volunteer time, I saw the personal care and relationships that the owners and staff members have taken the time to build with each client. That is rare in most facilities. More...
