I moved from Utah where I took my dog to camp bow wow there and was a little nervous about trying out a new one. However I have to say that this camp bow wow is far better than the other one! When I go there I feel like I'm meeting up with an old friend because of their warmth and kindness toward my dog. My dog Natalie gets nervous going to doggy daycare but here she actually gets excited when we pull into the parking lot. The fact that they have cameras that I can watch on an app on my phone makes me happy as I can check in on my dog at any time. They are the only place I trust to cut my dogs nails as she is a squirmer and they treat her so well. I moved over an hour away from them but still will not take my dog anywhere else! They are that great. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!!! More...

Thank you so much Camp Bow Wow Carmel for a great experience today!  My pup is a regular at the Lawrence location but due to a family issue I had an immediate need for doggie day care in Carmel.  At 4pm during a holiday week they helped get my information transferred from Lawrence and called my veterinarian for vaccinations records.  After reading the reviews I was concerned even with the great customer care I had received the day before when scheduling.  All trepidation was removed when I arrived 10 minutes before opening and the co-manager met me with a great attitude and got to know my special canine.  He is an older dog with a few special needs.  She reassured me that everything would be fine and when I pointed out that some have said the cameras were out she asked me to reach out if the cameras didn't connect to my app because it was an IT issue.  The cameras were on every time I looked today and my sweet boy was happy and relaxed when I check on him. When I came to pick my baby up I was second in line but there were several attendants available and I was able to pay and retrieve my boy with ease.I will definitely revisit this location and thank you again for helping me on such shot notice! I have a very high energy pup that struggles being home alone and everytime I take him he goes willingly to the staff ( very rare for him ) and I can tell that he trusts and loves being here. A typical day would consist of getting into the dog pens to take over for the last person on shift and handling the dogs anywhere from 3 to 5 hours. After which you would help clean up the pens and other areas that were dirty, then take out all feces and trash and clean up any other areas that were needed and then you could leave unless you had the closing shift, in which case you and the manager would have to make sure everything was set for the next work day before you could leave. Over all, the job is hard and cleaning up after dogs constantly is the worst part of it, but being able to spend time with all those dogs and getting to know them and their owners is a fun rewarding experience. I have read a few 1 star reviews and would gladly post the rules so those people with 1 star reviews understand how the business works before trying to talk negatively. Disregard those reviews as the reviewer is only uneducated or just completely think the business revolves around them. I think the main person this is for is Ryan. I’ve worked at CBW DE North for about a year and a half now and I couldn’t love it more! I genuinely enjoy going into work. The owner is fantastic - she truly cares about her employees. I am also a full time student in the spring and fall and the owner has been extremely flexible and understanding of my school availability. If you want more or less hours, just let her know and she’ll make it happen. She’s also very fair with holiday scheduling. The owner sends out frequent emails to keep the entire staff in the loop, not just the Team Leads, and at the end of every email, she thanks us for all that we do. I feel appreciated and valued at Camp. Next, I have learned so much valuable information when it comes to dog handling. My coworkers have taught me with zero judgement and lots of patience. I was taught how to handle dogs in the play yards, be an assistant trainer, and work as a bather, along with customer service up front. I feel that I have a well-rounded position at Camp and am able to bring my knowledge and experience outside of work and into my life. I love working here and frankly, I’m always talking about it to my friends and family! The dogs are great too! They have to pass a socialization test so all of the dogs there are generally good dogs. I love being surrounded by so many sweet pups. Plus, I get to bring my own dogs to work with me - what better job is there for a dog lover? More...

I've been a Camp Bow Wow client in multiple states for over 10 years. I used to take my aging boxer who had a wheelchair to their facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2009. When I relocated to Las Vegas in 2012, I started taking my pair of French Bulldogs to Camp Bow here locally.I generally bring the boys here for  doggy daycare, and also have boarded them here on multiple occasions. In fact, it's my top boarding preference since they play all day, and I can view them on my mobile phone during daycare at the drop of a hat. It can get costly to board for extended periods with 2 dogs, but it's worth every penny when we can financially swing it. Initially, we were taking them to the Valley View location. However, we've been mixing it up and taking them here since it's closer to our house. Our dogs are so ECSTATIC to go to 'camp' that the mere mention of 'Camp Bow Wow' has them running in circles with excitement. We now have to spell 'Camp Bow Wow' out in front of them vs. saying the name. Otherwise, our pups go nuts as they think we're taking them to play if we're only discussing it. They also offer baths for a deal at 30 bucks  each. This special  include nail trims, anal gland extraction, ear cleaning, and of course, a scrub in the tub. Since they're French Bulldogs with short coats, they don't need any grooming except a good brushing. Thus, I can't speak to their grooming capabilities for hair trims and shaved -- only bathing and a brushing which works for us. We generally take them here on a bath day so they can play their hearts out and then are clean/bathed for us when we pick them up. My oldest French Bulldog, Moose, has been visiting local Camp Bow Wow locations in Las Vegas since he was puppy, and I attribute their great care and socialization to his awesome demeanor. Even at 8 years old with a grey muzzle, he still jumps for joy when he knows he's going here for the day.   Every employee encounter has been wonderful, caring, and welcoming. The employees know our dogs by name, and are always showering them with love. The owner has been fantastic to work with, as he's personally called me to make arrangements for boarding and promptly returns my calls if I ever leave a message. This is five stars all the way for me and my fur babies . Hot Tip: They offer specials and packages - keep an eye out for their deals that pop up. you can save some serious money when purchasing packages ahead of time for doggy daycare. More...

Over a week has passed since my dog was injured at Camp Bow Wow Duluth so I thought an update was fitting. After all web cam footage was reviewed multiple times, by various employees, Camp Bow Wow has concluded that another dog caused the large open wound to my dog. From my understanding, the owner of that other dog can no longer bring her dog back for daycare services. Oh best believe I will be checking the web cams to make sure that dog is no where in sight! I believe this was the best and only outcome as why would you allow that dog back to daycare after this incident, right? Everyone at Camp Bow Wow has been STELLAR through this process so thank you to everyone who I have spoken with. Especially Claire, who has been continuously checking in with me on the status of my dog. Even though my dog won't be able to play in the yards with others until his wound is completely healed, she let me know my dog could hang out with employees in their offices and/or in one of their cabins. My dog hates being isolated and boarded in a kennel so hopefully their cabins are more pleasant and spacious than I'm envisioning. In the end, the only thing I am not at ease with is the fact that the owner of the other dog got off easy. She likely will take her dog to another daycare facility only to have this happen to another fur baby. But such is life; it's not fair and justice is not served  at times. More...
