I have to say I was super impressed with this place. The last place I want to go on Halloween is a costume shop, but I had a make up emergency. They handled the intense crowd well, and the super long lines were very organized. I was also impressed with their make up selection and prices, and the cheerful demeanor of the makeup clerk (I don't know how she did it, they were so busy that day!) Fun place with A LOT of things. For example I had never seen costumed realistic dragon wings before and they had a whole selection of them. Only downside is that a lot of stuff has cancer warnings for contained chemicals and out of the stuff I bought one of the items was super loose and I had to fix it with Bobby pins to get it to stay together. Which sucks not only because I paid for it but because theres a no return policy. But otherwise great store. More...

What a cool little shop. Love the unique and one-of-a-kind finds for kids. My daughter loved the "archeological dig" and played here for over an hour (longer if we would have let her). The staff is also very sweet, surprising since most seem too young to have kids and all really have the cool urbane thing going on (you know these types, the ones who roll their eyes at kids but these folks here were lovely to the little ones). My only complaint is that the store needs more stuff! Find some more ceramic antlers, more paper mache birds, more pyrite for kiddies, love everything here. More...

Not the best prices, but if you need drags quick this is the spot.  Decent select of wigs, although more on the costume side, not a for "natural" look.  But they do have chicken cutlet breasts and such, a small selection of heels, bunch of lashes and a section of heavy duty "theater" makeup and SFX latex stuff.  The rest is Halloweeny, better than Party City but smaller than Spirit. Fun place and worth a drop-in. They have a great magic section, and a magician behind the counter ready to show off some tricks and illusions. They also have a pretty great section of costume make-up, wigs, customizable mustaches, etc. and make up artists behind that counter to help you find what you're looking for and "create a look." There is a wig stylist in the wig section, but she was no help at all, and seemed like she'd rather be doing anything else. They have a huge selection of costumes, but the downside here is that they're only in the cheap-to-standard quality range.  Don't go here looking for high quality costumes, but more like Party City quality. There are a lot of them though, so you can piece together something decent, especially if you round it off with higher quality pieces from elsewhere. More...

This place has tons of costumes at affordable prices. I had a hard time deciding which costume I was daring enough to wear. Came a few weeks ago for a wig for a party and was pretty impressed by the massive selection of all things costume. Came back yesterday to get a last minute costume part for Halloween and was even MORE impressed at what a well-oiled machine this place was even with the throngs of shoppers also here last minute.
