Food was amazing and very good. It is a trendy restaurant but mostly has a new of presenting old favorites. The portions are on the small side as should be when presenting high quality meat, seafood and vegetables and fruits.

This is a quiet and classy place for happy hour. Prices are incredibly reasonable, and most menu options have a small and large size. The *small* salads are crazy big (large enough to share). It has a nice atmosphere and a much more reserved crowd than other downtown bar-restaurants. They have a nice beer selection, with several crafts.The downstairs area has a limited menu, but there is a larger (more extensive menu) for upstairs dining. The upstairs area is more formal, and the menu is more expensive. All in all, this is probably my favorite place to go in the downtown area. More...

I made reservations using Open Table and took my wife there on 2/10/18 for an early anniversary celebration dinner. It was everything I had hoped it would be. We ate upstairs at Roost where the vibe is a little more elegant than the very fun and cool-looking first floor. We had the Valentine's special 3-course meal and every course was utterly fantastic. The Braised Beef Short rib was my first course. My wife opted for the Winter Green Salad. I have to say those were possibly the best short ribs I've ever had. Flavor like crazy and they just fell apart they were so perfectly done. For the second course, we both opted for the Surf & Turf. This was a good sized Filet, 2 large Hokkaido Scallops, Mashed Potatoes & Green beans. We both loved every last bit of it. I ordered my filet Medium Rare. It may have been ever so slightly more done than that but still almost perfect. For our third course (desert), she had the Cheesecake and I had the Chocolate Decadence. Both were well dressed with fruit, perfectly sized and absolutely delicious. Our server, Aimee, was super attentive and showed up at just the right times to help a very romantic evening stay romantic. We will definitely be back to Revel + Roost!! More...
