Hilton Garden Inn Seattle Downtown

Due to my profession I travel a lot.  Seen and stayed at many hotels.  But by far this one stands out in my mind as one to remember.  It was a very nice and comfortable stay.  Exceptional in every way compared to 90% of the other Hotels.   Front desk woman was very polite and attentive to my every need.  She went out of her way to make me feel like a special guest.   Breakfast was very good too.  A place to come back to for sure. I travel frequently for my line of work and whenever I travel I always try to stay at the Hilton. I choose Hilton because I know that I'll received great service. This Hilton location is by far the best I've been to and it is hugely accredited to the warm hearted customer service driven staff. I've been to this Seatac Garden Inn location several occasions and I am simply astonished at the great service I am given each time. Special thanks must go out to Vivian at the front desk for always going above and beyond to make me feel at home even though I am hundreds of miles from my place of residence. Had a great night with a friend. Room service had to be called 4 times to bring us more pillows. Brought towels after third call. We never asked for towels.

I am a HILTON guy through and through and we loved this property. The entire staff was amazing...the bar / restaurant was terrific (especially breakfast). ..it was a decent location...and I felt we got a tremendous amount of value from our 6 night stay here. Need a reasonably priced hotel close to downtown? This is place but it offers a lot more. We were pleasantly surprised to see they offered live music and had a nice bar. The singer and bar tender were great and represented Seattle - a local acoustic guitarist alongside an edgy bar tender that knows her drinks and timing super well! . The hotel is in a good location downtown, walking distance to the pike place market and tons of different shops and restaurants. We did not park a car, but noticed parking was valet only. At check in, we arrived early and Francisco was very helpful and got us in a room that was ready and gave us a map and tons of recommendations for things to do in the area. The room was pretty standard, but good enough for what we needed. What we really liked was the restaurant and bar downstairs. Breakfast there is very good and the bar is nice to grab a drink before dinner. Would recommend to friends and family traveling to Seattle for sure. More...

The front desk manager Matt is my hero!!! I reserved a room through a third party and they screwed it up. Matt was able to help me and we got the room changed to the appropriate date. (Note to self, do not book through trip.com again) Our room was wonderful and clean. The amenities are great and I made use of both the fitness room and the pool. Pool was a tad warmer than most hotel pools which was nice because I didn't freeze my butt off. Parking is a bit of a nightmare and as we arrived at night, we had no choice but to valet. It cost us $50 which I wasn't too happy about, but it is what it is. There was live music in the bar/restaurant/lounge area. They were FANTASTIC!!! The bartenders were super grouchy and the drinks were WAY too strong!!! So we only ordered one. The next morning we had breakfast and the food was amazing!!!! They had some of the best salsa I've ever tasted and their omelets were to die for!! My only complaint was a female waitress who was bossing everyone around and yelling at workers "don't talk to me like that" in front of all the customers. It made us all uncomfortable and people kept looking around at each other afraid to talk. She did not want to serve us because we had a child with us so she passed us off to a male server who was awesome. We tipped him extra for having to deal with her. I was thrilled to be staying here instead of the Doubletree next door. This hotel was newly renovated, clean, and very modern. It's also within a mile of the airport entrance that I walked there.  There is free shuttle service to the airport. You have to call them for pick up, but walking was faster. The heated patio is gorgeous!  I really wanted to enjoy a drink and chill but Mother Nature was not cooperating (it rained all three days). My king room was spacious with a fridge and microwave. Service is what you would expect at other Hilton brands-amazing!  I didn't get to eat breakfast there since I had to leave at 4 am both mornings but will have to check it out during my next visit. Drove to Seattle from Portland for a quick overnight business trip and booked hotel once I got to Seattle. This was an Express Deal for $120 a night and I couldn’t be happier that I stayed here. It really was a great deal.

Hotel was lovely good location for shopping not so much for bars etc The only think I did find strange that the coffee at the bar/food area is only served between 6am and 8am even through it is a coffee machine bit disappointed when we finally had the cappuccino the lady only 1/4 full one of the medium size cups

My wife and I plus 7 friends/classmates stayed here on July 25th and 26th prior to our cruise and it was excellent. The entire staff went far and above what was expected. From Fowzia at the front desk who worked out a couple of issues with the reservations (it all turned out great) and the evening manager (sorry but did not get his name) who worked tirelessly to get cabs for our group on a Friday night during rush hour, we can not say enough - they were great people and cared about getting it done. The staff at the restaurant and bar also was extremely courteous and friendly and made us feel welcomed. Have visited Seattle and stayed at this hotel several times. Great location, very friendly staff. The hotel rooms are well maintained, though nothing fancy. The breakfast has daily specials. The lobby has a separate area which helps in easy access to hotel. Some of the best eateries are walking distance. Cabs are seconds away. All in all excellent hotel. |The only downside being the varying hotel nightly charges as it can get pretty costly in their busier times. Very helpful and courteous front desk. Lobby area is very comfortable and relaxing. I took advantage of a service in which I received a $10- voucher for not have daily housekeeping.
