I loved this place! We came down for a conference and everything was stellar! Front desk check in was a breeze. Rooms were dated but functional. Resort had several bars and restaurants within. I stayed at the Hilton in Daytona Beach while traveling solo in October. I stayed on a Sunday evening for 1 night at the end of the October Bike Week Festival. Here are the things I LOVED about this hotel:- It's in a REALLY GREAT location. Walking to main street, restaurants, bars, the pier and boardwalk are all very easy- The hotel resort fee includes great perks like 1 hour bike rental and food and beverage discounts- They have a great selection of bars and restaurants on the property (which is quite large) including Hyde Park Steakhouse and McCoy's Rum Room. I enjoyed both and was surprised by how inexpensive prices were at both places. However.. the coffee shop (starbucks) on site is NOT cheap.- The views from the room really are fantastic- The staff is super nice and my check in process was awesome- They had fridges in the roomsHere are the things that I thought were OK about this hotel:- I wish I could actually sit on the balcony. As a result I had to run the fan and leave the door open (and just sit near the sliding door). The bugs weren't a problem, but if I did this as sunset, it would have been.- Self park is a short walk, which I didn't want to deal with (you're walking OUTSIDE) and so I did valet which I thought was a bit steep ($24 vs $17 for self park)Would I stay here again? I had a nice stay there during a confrence. The staff was very nice and courteous. The rooms were clean and spacious. We had a ocean view room which was nice because I like to sew the sunrise.

we love to have our romantic getaways at the Hilton. But this past weekend was kinda disappointing. our shower was so slippery, that I almost fell 2 time's. and after 4 shower's you would think it would be gone but still an issue. Then 2 different occasions while hubby was in the shower the water just stopped!! He had to wait 1 minute each time for it to come back on. should've went to the front desk! More...

We go the National Reptile Breeders Expo each year and the Hilton is the host hotel so we stay there for the convenience. everything we want to do and everyplace we want to eat is within a 5 minute walk.

Location is amazing. It has long standing been the best hotel on beachside. Some rooms are better than others, I suggest the north tower. The view is Phenomenal if you are facing the beach. I just returned from here last week. The staff is fantastic. The hotel is clean and has a great up beat vibe to it. Beach access is perfect. The location is a huge bonus. All within walking distance there are several places to eat. The boardwalk has rides, food, and old school arcades. It is very neat. Across the street there are also a waterpark, with a large modern arcade,go karts and putt putt. In my opinion Daytona is very under rated. The beach behind the Hilton is spotless and very clean. I had no worries about leaving my sunglasses on my table outside. You can rent beach chairs, bikes and boogie boards. The boardwalk and is well lit and has cameras everywhere so I assume it is very safe at night. Most people seem unaware that this area is very family friendly. There is alot to do. The sand is lighter and the water was warm. My advice to anyone considering vacationing here with kids, just check the calendar of events in the area first. Daytona is big on car racing, and don't forget bike week. I am sure there are weeks that it is packed with specific themed events. I went in mid August from a sunday and checked out friday morning. It was perfect. By the hotel there is not much public access nearby so folks are not very likely to walk their stuff the long distance to go sit on the beach behind the Hilton.
