High Speed Plumbing Inc

January 21st I had an appointment at 4pm get cancelled on me with a different plumbing company 4 hours before they were scheduled to come out. Luckily the evening prior I was already talking to John from High Speed Plumbing Inc. about my issue with our water heater not producing hot water after flushing it on my own 4 days earlier.With the information I provided him he was able to come out on the same day. At 2pm he came out for the free estimate/inspection of the water heater. Instead of it being just a stop-over, he ended up staying, speaking with Rinnai the manufacturer, and ordered the parts covered by warranty. John quoted me on the same day, even after hours of trying to diagnose the problem he did not charge me for the visit. We were told the parts would be shipped overnight and be delivered from Georgia, expected to arrive by January 25th. The parts arrived as scheduled. John got back to me on the same day and we made an appointment for today at 1pm. He was punctual, got the work done in less than an hour, went back on his previous price estimate and charged me less. It was a cold, rainy night and we had flooding in our patio that was about to come into the house. Gerardo came to our aid, and worked fearlessly trying to unblock our  outside drain pipes.  All the while he was getting poured on.  Next day he came with a pump that totally resolved our problem. I want to start off by saying John is a true professional and extremely knowledgeable. With that being said my entire experience with high speed plumbing was all of the 5 stars and then some. I was fortunate that John was able to come to my residence the same day I called and was here within a few hours. After some diagnostics done on my tankless water heater it was found that I would need a few parts that could be troublesome to find. John went out of his way and drove to Irvine to pick up the parts the next day! The job was completed very timely and reasonably priced. I highly recommend High Speed Plumbing!We had a leak in galvanized piping at my elderly MIL's house, with water streaming out of the garage. Service Manager John Howe answered my call at 8pm, walked me through how to shut off the whole house supply so we could avoid a service call, and had a crew at the house the next morning at 7 am. The plumbers were thoughtful and methodical in finding the leak source (there were two leaks), and when the jack hammered the floor in the house, they were directly over the leak. The showed us the piece of pipe that had corroded so we could see the hole that was the major leak.They kept us in the loop throughout the process. We knew what they were doing and why. As a retired civil engineer, I have been impressed with the depth of knowledge I found during this process. I am even more impressed by the old school honesty, customer service and professionalism. I must add that I had initially thought that the water was leaking out of the hot water heater, and had used one of the 'find-a-provider' services to get quotes on replacing it. The companies selected by this service called me back from our of state call centers, and proposed to send crews covering LA County. I am beyond please by the service offered from High Speed Plumbing. I requested multiple quotes and John from High Speed Plumbing was quick to address my issue. I originally reached out to 3 companies to get quotes to diagnose/service my tankless water heater. High Speed plumbing responded right away and were willing to come out the same day. I could tell this was an honest, professional company and cancelled my appointments with the other companies.John arrived on time and was able to quickly diagnose the problem with my unit. It turns out that the heat exchanger had developed a leak which also caused a couple of fuses to burn out. He explained that he could replace the fuses and get the unit to power on, but this would not solve the problem as the leak will continue to be an issue. John reached out to the manufacturer (Rheem) and they agreed to provide me with fair market value to get a replacement tankless water heater.After getting a replacement unit, John quickly set-up a follow up appointment to have the new unit installed by their tech Chris. Chris was also very professional and courteous. John, who served us several times, is unparalleled in his plumbing service. He is competent, diligent, always has his client's best interest in mind. We had a water filtration system from 2007, which no other plumber we had consulted before knew how to get a replacement for. John went back, researched and helped us get a new unit and replaced it. We had several leaky faucets and a broken tap...John advised that several were still under parts warranty from Delta Faucets and helped us get the parts free from the supplier, then installed them. One of our showers was leaking, as a previous one had done. Another plumber had got us to purchase the parts and had them installed...but John got us to obtain the cartridge free of cost from Delta, then while assembling the unit realized that the original installation was faulty. The unit had melted in the heat and gotten jammed. He painstakingly removed the old unit and replace it and in the process got physically injured...he got cuts on his hand and forehead. And yet, he didn't charge us anything for this job, because a few days ago he had tried to fix the leak by replacing the 'seats' which didn't work. In other words, John's honesty and dedication to his duty are beyond our expectations. My wife and I wholeheartedly recommend John and High-Speed-Plumbing of Pomona/Claremont. Thank you John. From the start yesterday morning I was stressed out because my kitchen sink clogged and to add to that every plumber I called was quoting me high prices and they weren't able to come out same day but the day got better when I called High Speed Plumber! John was extremely  responsive and helpful.  He installed a valve and icemaker and then tried to troubleshoot with the manufacturer a defect in the icemaker.  He was extremely patient with the manufacturer's customer service reps that seemed to not know what to do or how to help.  John stayed on the phone until he was able to get them to reorder the part and schedule a repair tech so that I would be covered by the warranty and save some $$.  I would use John again and would highly recommend him to anyone who needs good service.  (Upland, CA) More...

Happy with the entire process as they were very courteous and upfront with costs.My shower drain and toilet was backing up and I suspected a clog.  Called and Juan answered the phone and gave me an estimated timeframe for arrival.  They were able to get to me later in the day and were very professional.  They wore face masks and booties to cover their shoes when they entered my house.They brought in their equipment and was able to snake the blockage.  Juan explained the whole process and what potential issues we may run into.  He gave his recommendations to prevent future blockage and I felt comfortable with the options and pricing.He sent me an invoice via text for $135 and I paid thru the online platform.I'll be following up with their recommendations to camera my drain and hopefully will have another pleasant experience to post about. John was an outstanding professional! We had a leak in an old galvanized irrigation line, and I was really worried we would have to replace the entire line from the house. John was super skilled and was able to remove the broken section without breaking more of the pipe. He added a cap and now we can use our irrigation system! Let me start this review off by saying....WOW. Great service from the beginning to the end. John answered quickly on Yelp and did not charge to come out and find the problem. Other companies wanted $120.00 just to come out. When John  arrived I found out he was the Service Manager and instead of  calling one of his guys to come out, he just took care of our problem on the spot.  After the job was done he showed me pictures of what was wrong and how he reset everything. Luckily I was in the part of the garage I don't frequent and saw a leak and little pool of water developing. I saw the great reviews for High Speed and reached out. John was quick to respond and provided a way to slow down the leak. When it was determined another remedy was needed he didn't hesitate to come by on a Friday night before the Holiday weekend.
