Food is delicious but yes service is slow. Great if you just want to sit back and enjoy (especially on the patio) but not so great if you are in a hurry.
I love the patio b/c it’s off the street and comphy. The food was really good. We had cauliflower two ways, kale salad, and hummus.
The service however is what reduced this rating and you see it time and time again as a negative comment. Our server kept complaining of having only one computer and needing to hand write stuff out. This seems somethings management should try and change. Just sayin’

Bartender was absolutely amazing at the downstairs bar. My friend and I both have dietary restrictions and between the two of us we should probably not ever try to go out to eat. .. But he helped us make accommodations and find something delicious! I had the rice bowl with tofu and she got the brick chicken with polenta. Both were really good! Whispering angel Rose was a good pair for both. This was good redemption from my terrible experience at their dedham location. I trust again and will certainly go back to this Met bar! More...

The Met Bar is a great place to grab a drink. Our waiter, Miguel, was incredibly friendly and took the time to help us pick out a delicious wine despite the fact that the bar was totally packed and he had many customers to care for. High quality cocktails and elevated pub food. Yes this is a 'chain' or sorts but every time I've gone, it's exceeded my expectations.
Get the cheese board and a burger or show up for brunch. You won't be disappointed.
