I am very happy with the work completed by Hi-Def. We recently moved into new construction and were tight on funds after installing a deck. The awesome designer, Jean-Michel worked with my limited budget and a crew arrived on the scheduled day and finished when they said they would. Aaron and Steve, owners, were so diligent when it came to installing my irrigation and making sure I was happy with the rock color and other selections (even so far as offering to swap out the rock that had already been delivered.) I had a couple sprinkler head issues and they were resolved right away. Just the nicest crew too - all the men and teens worked hard and with a smile. Look forward to having them back in the Spring to work on the front yard and to build upon what they did in the back. More...

We had Jean Michel out a couple months ago to begin the design process for a modest patio. Once we finalized the design, it was agony waiting for the patio to begin because we wanted it done so bad. Jean Michel stayed in touch weekly throughout providing commentary on any question we had. Well, the patio finished last week, on schedule, and we couldn't be happier. We went from a 10x12 concrete slab to what you see in the pictures. The foreman Aaron was extremely professional as was his crew. Everyone put up with me being nosey and asking questions. When I noticed a couple oversights they were quick to remediate them. Jean Michel was even there actually laying the pavers, which was awesome to see the lead designer actually helping with the work. They cleaned up after themselves every day and were very careful to leave my yard the way they found it. If you are looking for a quality landscape job whether elaborate or modest like ours, i'd have no problem recommending them to anyone. The owner Steve came by one night to just do a quality check and answer any questions I had and just overall make sure that we as the clients were happy thus far. Hi-Def built the most amazing outdoor cabana last summer & added additional landscaping to our backyard. They were extremely awesome in their approach to building our vision. They communicated often and stayed on budget. In fact, we are now beginning Phase 2 to finish out our landscaping of our backyard, side yard, & the remainder of the front. I had HI-DEF do some work in our backyard to install artificial turf for the dog area. Not everything went according to plan, but Steve made sure that he came out and fixed everything. Steve and his team are putting the final touches on our backyard right now, and I couldn't be happier. To begin with - I called Steve after we closed on our new build house at the end of January. I thought I would start compiling quotes and decide on what I wanted to do, and that we would have a leg up on busy season, but that we wouldn't be done until sometime in late April / May. With a little help from the Colorado sunshine, it's March 15th, and everything is ready to go, and I couldn't be more excited! Steve has been great to work with from day one - friendly, approachable, on-time, and his quote came in with a more original design, but still cheaper and able to start sooner than other landscapers we talked to - it was an EASY decision, and his team has backed it up the whole way. They've been prompt, hardworking and courteous - even going out of their way to make sure everything looked great and was buttoned up in the evenings so I could still let my dogs out at night. I contacted Steve at HI-DEF Landscapes back in the in the middle of the summer of 2014 regarding a project in 2015. Not only was he one of the few that expressed any interest at all during peak season, Steve made it a point to take time out of his undoubtedly hectic schedule to meet me at the property and discuss my goals for the project. He thoroughly covered what we wanted it to look like, how we wanted to use the space, what our budget was, and long-term plans. When we received Steve's proposal with design and numbers, his proposed design look better than anything I had received from other companies and his price was significantly lower. He did everything he could to make sure the finished product would be what I had in mind as well as ensuring that the total was within our budget. Now that our landscape is completed, I am beyond impressed. Steve exceeded our every expectation when I gave him the freedom to execute the project according to his vision. He absolutely nailed the design with little direction from us. The backyard looks incredible, but the whole experience with HI-DEF is what sets Steve apart from the rest. His team's work is incredible, his prices are unbeatable, and his attention to detail is unparalleled. The little things like making sure the job site was clean every day when they left, sending me emails daily with updates on the work done and expectation for the next week's work, frequent site walks to make sure I was satisfied every step of the way, flexibility and adjustments based on my new thoughts - Steve and his crew were just plain on point throughout the project. These guys are AWESOME!!! Great price and they worked so hard. Steve, the owner was very honest and very professional and nice! It was refreshing to deal with someone who was so straight forward, the quote stayed the same and didn't have hidden costs or revisions. He stuck to his original estimate!! This was a big job lots of bulldozing and a huge rock retaining wall. They are very knowledgeable and skilled at making it look very natural and beautiful. They worked steady and got it done in what I consider record time. We had several other companies come out and give us bids last summer but none of them even called back to give us a bid. They would walk around and ask questions that were leading like what we were asking couldn't be done. Several even told us that it couldn't be done. My husband and I had decided that we would have to try and tackle the job ourselves over the entire summer. Then a friend suggested Hi-Def and we called Steve and a week and a half later the yard is done and ready to enjoy and I don't have to haul dirt all summer. After seeing how hard they worked, I know now I was dreaming to think we could do it ourselves haha. I recommend these guys with no reservations.
