I tip my hats to Alex, Vlad, and Sergii the dream team of Here and Now Movers! First off, let me just say that Maya who coordinated the move was extremely helpful and reliable. They made a move with two stops, so easy for me. Originally, I was going to rent another truck and get two family members to make the second stop but it was so much easier and cheaper to use this company to do everything, and would have been a disaster if you keep on reading. The movers showed up with an extremely positive and ready to work attitude right at 9 am (my exact move time). We were laughing the whole way through and I put on some music so everyone could have some fun while moving. They went above and beyond and even cleaned my grill when they were moving it. They packed my items into a storage that I thought would have been too small and saved me having to pay an extra $100 dollars a month for extra space! They moved me out of my 3 story townhome and into storage with ease, courtesy and professionalism. Then came the second stop, a 4 story townhome, where my master bedroom happened to be on the fourth floor area, of course there was no elevator and the fourth floor had an extremely narrow doorway. The furniture could not get through but these guys tried and tried and managed to get every single thing up  those stairs without damaging the walls. I thought they would have given up because I had already said it's okay. I didn't know the door was so narrow, but they didn't give up. They even got the tools out ready to take down the wall railings to get everything moved. They even moved furniture down the stairs that I needed removed from the space I was going to be living in. I mean all in all, I read so many reviews and I am EXTREMELY happy with choosing them. Their prices are very reasonable and honestly were a lot cheaper than a lot of the movers I had contacted before. After talking to several, several companies I am glad I chose them. All guys who came were fully vaccinated and just really did go above and beyond. I know this is a super long review, but they took a move that I was dreading and made it into a pleasant experience. I was honest and up front with what I had in the home and the furniture to be moved and that is the key thing when you hire movers. Please be fully transparent with them because when you don't that's when you place the company and yourself in a compromising situation. I have also learned to give grace in the future if my movers ever run a little late, because seeing how we ran into that major unexpected issue with the furniture at the second stop that was really unplanned, but they made sure to get everything where it was supposed to be and I'm thrilled. I'll show a picture of the home we cleaned out and then the narrow doorway to fit a KING size bed, frame and chest drawer through! Thank you guys! Here & Now did everything you could ask for from a moving company. Â The team was very careful with the stuff, they took the time to make sure things ended up in the correct rooms, and while they were on the clock, they did not want to rest, even when we wanted them to take a break. Â The rate was also the 2nd cheapest quote I received out of all the services I reached out toAlex, Mike, Dimitry, and Vlad are the moving dream team. Â All four of them were courteous, respectful, and professional. I really appreciate Maya (orcastrated my move), Vlad and Andrew... this moving company right here, the moving business done CORRECTLY! !!First and foremost, Maya hands down has the best customer service even when things go awry.Long story short, Here and Now Movers were hired to move my belongings from a storage unit. Andrew and Vlad were punctual, professional and very kind. I was running behind to meet them due to traffic, Maya called me about 20 minutes prior to the gentleman arriving, I let her know, easy. Â I arrived, apologized for my tardiness and let them in to the storage unit. The little items were all in the front of the unit so about 45 minutes later I get a call from Maya. Maya is calling me to let me know what has been discovered. I catch the elevator upstairs and Andrew immediately was like "ma'am none of your items were packed correctly and I believe you have a lot of damaged". I walked in and tv boxes were laid flat, the mirror was under that, bookshelf cracked and scrapped, glass broken... falling out the boxes. Vlad put his hands on his hips and said "yikes". Andrew said who moved you in I said "New Rey/ Ray", I said it's a VA moving company. Vlad said "oh okay" and then he shook his head. Andrew said "ma'am I don't think it's a good idea to move this into your home because of your baby... we need to trash it here". I went down stairs, informed the manager and she approved it. Vlad and Andrew carried it out and placed it in not on the side of the dumpster. The move went on and about 3 hours later, my belongings had been moved. This was our first time hiring movers and Here & Now made it a great experience. It was recommended for our move to hire a 3 man crew and truck for our apartment to three level townhome. We were booked for the afternoon with a time frame of 12-3. They arrived at 2 (still within time frame). Alex was very good at communicating on their status of arrival and any issues that needed to be brought up. It's understandable that moves can go longer than planned, therefore have some flexibility for the movers as they are working as hard as they can to get to their next job!Alex, Vlad, & Dmitri did an amazing job from the moment they stepped in to our apartment till they finished unloading at the new house. It's stressful when moving, but Alex kept his crew on point and worked efficiently. Great customer service as I had to reschedule my move due to a delay in closing and Maya happily assisted me with that. I scheduled movers for a Saturday afternoon from 3-6. Maya called around 2:50 pm that they would be there around 6:30-7. Â I called a couple times to check in and around 6:15 pm she said they would be later. My storage unit closes at 10 so I decided to cancel and asked if they could come Monday morning. She said they could come Monday afternoon. I don't feel comfortable committing considering I had an afternoon time slot and need to be out this week. I asked if she could switch around the morning with the afternoon slot for me since I waited all day. She said she could not do that. It was a waste of time and I also spent $55 on a parking permit and will need to spend that again for a permit for movers who will actually come out. This was the most efficient move I have ever seen! The two strong men showed up a few minutes early, masked, keeping appropriate distance. Assessed the move, and got right to work. Blanketed and taped furniture, never stopped moving. Wiped shoes when coming in from outside every time. Loaded and unloaded in under 3 hours, not a single second wasted. Great price, great service! I can't praise these guys highly enough. It's not just that they were prompt, curteous and professional. This is what one expects from a business. But these guys went way beyond. My exercise equipment was complex and the space on the third floor of my house was tight. They encountered problems, from worn out screws (they replaced) to a smaller than usual attic doorway (they removed and then replaced the door) and finally to a ceiling that was too low for the equipment to fit without partially taking it apart, standing it up, and then reassembling it when it was in a vertical position. WOW! They also scraped off existing sliders from the bottom of the equipment, meant for carpeted floors, and expertly replaced them with felt pads more appropriate to my newly installed oak flooring that I provided. Then they brought up other heavy pieces of furniture and placed them where I asked--and they worked so quickly, and so neatly, that a job I'd dreaded for months was over in no time. We were very happy with the service we received from Here and Now Movers. The 3 man crew carefully but efficiently moved us from our 2 bedroom condo to our new townhome. Â They came prepared with more than enough moving blankets and additional tools. Maya in the front office was a great help too with answers to our many questions. The pricing was straight forward and the added cost for packing materials was more than reasonable. We were happy to pay in cash to avoid a 5% credit card processing fee. These guys were amazing. Ronaldo and Andrew! I think I owned the heaviest 2 Â living room furniture sets ever made, 2 huge sofas, love seats, etc while somehow moving it all through a 28 in door and a 30 in hallway, with not a scratch to the walls or my furniture! And with what I knew were smiles, but they were wearing masks and taking all the covid precautions. They moved swiftly, but careful at the same time. And it was half the price of the other more reviewed businesses on here. I cannot recommend more enthusiastically than Here and Now Movers, with Ronaldo and Andrew (and Maya at the office)!!!! I am extremely pleased with Here & Now Movers!!! I needed my furniture and some boxes and totes moved from storage to my apartment. Rolando and Andrew were so awesome and fast! They wore masks and gloves following PPE guidelines for the crisis. I'm at high risk so I was so pleased!!!!! They did such an amazing job assembling my furniture that needed it and organizing my bedroom furniture! Another huge shoutout to Maya!!! Her customer service is impeccable!!! 200 mile move. 2 guys and a truck, packed my boxes and furniture, TV, large wall mirrors, frames, lamps drove 200 miles and unpacked up and down 3 floors and not a single thing broke. Â Comparable prices to others but the price isn't set or estimated. No extra fees for anything, all included in the hourly rate. First off, Maya in the office is wonderful! Â We had logistic issues on the original date we were scheduled due to our transport trailer not fitting in the apartment complex loading dock or parking lot. She was able to reschedule us for the next day for the movers to meet at the trailer storage yard to transport our belongings to the complex in their truck instead. Â She called to check up on us during the move and is a pleasure to work with. Â The movers; Andrew, Junior and Rolando were also a pleasure to work with. They showed up and got right to work...between unloading the transport into their truck, an hour drive to the complex and bringing up all our stuff to the 7th floor they were done in a little over 3 hours. They were careful with all of our furniture and made sure it was safe from damage during transport and unloading. Great moving experience from beginning to end. Â The initial quote was straightforward and well priced. Â I got a window when I could expect to have the movers arrive and on moving day, I got a heads up call to let me know they were 10mins out. Â The guys arrived with masks, moving pads, and dollies which made for a quick loading while making sure my things were all protected. Â The unload was just as efficient, almost too quick for me to keep up, so they're not milking the time clock at all. This company was amazing from start to finish. I did my entire booking via a yelp chat with Maya, which was super quick and convenient. The prices are very reasonable and you get lots of quality for the money! I had not one issue, honestly. First, the crew (Vee, Jr, Rolando); all were absolutely amazing, professional, polite, energetic, courteous, responsible, fast, safe, clean and effective!! They arrived precisely on time and moved through everything so quickly, and with such precision that my husband and I were blown away. We forgot to line our carpet prior to the move but they were able to use blankets to cover it. They finished our whole move in 2 hours! Not a scratch, no damage. I had a four legged local move. The employee I worked with before I booked the move promptly answered all my questions and was professional and courteous. They were professional from the moment I called them to the completion of my move. They asked me for details about what I needed done and emailed me a confirmation.
