What makes a great website?
A great website must speak to your audience, be easily maintained and updated, and look beautiful. Most importantly, a great website tells YOUR story. We will work together to make sure your online presence shines.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I start with the basics: Tell me about your personal journey. Tell me about your business journey. Why you? Why now?
More questions will surface during the discussion and after I see your mood board and creative brief.
Describe your creative process.
This is my basic process:
1. Discovery - gather materials and research
2. Initial designs - begin initial designs
3. Define the direction - decide the direction the design will take
4. Iterate - make a few versions to explore options
5. Focus and Refine - pick and final design and refine it
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
I like to start with a mood board (visual) and a creative brief (written). This will put us on the same page, and make sure that what we say is what we see. A mood board is as simple as a few images of other brands or styles you like. And I have templates for a creative brief
What do you love most about your job?
I get to meet really cool people doing interesting work. Then I get to help them build their business. I love designing and building website. It's a lot of fun and I get to solve interesting problems. The best part is seeing the smiles of my clients when they have a website and brand that they love.
What inspired you to start your own business?
When I was in my early 20s, I started helping friends with their brands and websites. It eventually grew into a business all of its own. Now I've been doing this work for over 10 years!

I'm fun to work with and I do great work. I have clear processes and timelines. There aren't any surprises for my clients–they know what to expect from the start.
