Elsa is hands down the best. If you aren’t from Durango you may not realize how laid back the process came seem- that’s just how we operate on Mountain time. She had every detail down pat, my wedding was the stuff dreams are made of! My parents (who live in Tennessee and have high expectations) could not believe how wonderful everything was. They even pulled me aside and told me how Elsa was worth every penny and then some! All I had to do was OK things and show up on the big day. I absolutely loved working with Elsa! With a destination wedding at the remote Dunton Hot Springs I was only able to meet her via Skype. With only this call, a few inspiration images and an email thread, I let Elsa run with my ideas. I was just beside myself with joy on my wedding day. She made our reception the most enchanting space, leaving no detail unturned. My vision was realized and so much more, she really injected so much of what my Husband and I wanted out of our day that it felt all the more intimate and special. To accomplish this work Elsa was extremely reliable and enthusiastic, and she worked seamlessly with the Dunton crew day-of. Elsa made our wedding near Durango absolutely beautiful. She understood our style and worked within our budget to create an event that was even more special than we imagined. She was warm, reassuring, responsive, and great at adapting to last minute surprises. When our florist fell through a few weeks before the event, she offered to buy flowers wholesale and do the arrangements herself; if we'd known how great this would turn out we would have asked her to take this on from the get-go. Hiring Elsa & Heirlooms was the perfect addition to making our wedding extra special. There are so many details and hiring a wedding planner was a small expense that allowed the stress of "day of organization" to be alleviated off myself and my husband! Elsa was able to visualize the details that I had decided and everything was exactly as I had imagined when I arrived. We were thrilled with Heirlooms. Renting our dishware separately allowed us to get a more affordable caterer and allowed us to save a lot of money. The vintage collection was great. The dishes really contributed to a homemade/DIY feel that we wanted our wedding to have. All experiences with Elsa were very professional and creative.
