I was born back in the day when parents told their kids to eat everything on their plate because there were kids in FILL IN COUNTRY HERE that were starving. My father even sat with me until I finished every single one of those canned peas that to this day I can't stand.What did Liza do for me? Â Liza made me able to stop when my stomach says it's full, not when my brain does. That means that I'm eating smaller portions and thereby losing weight - without going on a diet or even doing anything special. Wow. I'm truly amazed. Ms. Liza was filled with love and a warm caring heart that she truly shared with me during my experience. I walked in with my anxiety at an all time high. She started our session by truly listening to me. Listening to what I needed. She eazed me into hypnotherapy she must knew I was the type to not be easily relaxed, before I knew it , I was definitely hypnotized! I walked out of her office feeling lighter than ever and I have continued feeling this way. It's interesting how this is not recommended by most psychologist or psychiatrist. However, a magic pill is , only to come to find out those pills aren't so magical. Please , if you're questioning this , just go. I hope you have the same experience I have had! I have one word for Liza and that is AMAZING! I was lucky enough to meet Liza in a medical conference since I am an MD, and during a difficult time in my life I contacted her and got an appointment. I woudl say if anyone wants to do anything for them selves this is it.I think the way she makes you realize the powers you have and how to find yourself again is beyond amazing.As a medical professional and someone who has been through difficult times I would say she not only helped me deal with that moment but also guided me to find myself and the best version of myself that was. I am so grateful that I utilized Liza's hypnobirthing CD throughout my pregnancy. I ended up needing a c'section because my son's heart rate was dropping drastically with each contraction.
However, I needed those calming techniques even more so during my surgery. It was very scary, especially when they first took me to the operation room because I didn't know if they were going to have to put me under general anesthesia. If they had, my husband would not have been able to come into the room. So I had to focus solely on my breathing and calming thoughts to get me through it. All I could think was how grateful I was that I had been listening to the CD.
Hypnobirthing is the way to go and Liza is the correct woman to work with! Thanks Liza!!

I have personally had a life changing experience with Liza, and consider her to be the best in her field. I have had other experiences with Counselors in the past, and I felt for me this was the best guidance I have ever had.

Liza is the best! I have been suffering from IBS for over 10 years now. When I came to her I had tried everything else and was desperate for some relief. I just wanted to feel normal. I did 5 sessions with her and can honestly say she saved me from the vicious cycle of laxative abuse that I was in. I found that I really enjoyed my time being there with her. It was very relaxing and I ended up getting more out of our sessions than just relief from the IBS. There were other areas of my life that I knew I wanted to change and she was able to bring those to light and give me the push that I needed to focus on them. I would recommend Liza to any of my friends and family...and actually already have a friend that is going to her to quit smoking. She gets two thumbs up in my book! More...

As I have yet to visit the HealWithin clinic itself, this review covers my impressions of Liza Boubari, the practitioner, and is written from the standpoint of a fellow massage therapist and educator with no affiliation with her practice. I first heard about her practice from a student researching a project on hypnotherapy and massage. Â As I was relatively unaware of how these fields complemented each other, I invited Liza to come speak at my school. Â After conversing with her briefly I would regard Liza as someone with a genuinely friendly, welcoming disposition. Â What I thought to be most refreshing was her complete lack of pretentiousness or agenda of self promotion, qualities I believe to be rare in this field.Liza drove 20 miles out of her way on a weekday afternoon to come speak to a group of aspiring massage therapists about her experiences in the field. Â She performed a brief demonstration on a couple of volunteers, explaining some of her philosophies as she continued. Â I would describe her approach as truly holistic in that it seemed to combine aspects of Western based medical massage with intuitive, energy-based arts. Â As a recipient of her treatment you could expect compassion, active-listening, and unconditional positive regard through seasoned, experienced hands. Â Both student volunteers reported positive effects such as improved sleep and feeling as though some weight had been lifted from their beings.To be clear, I'm not writing this review to promote HealWithin to the casual yelper but rather to assure potential clients that the treatment provided by Ms. Boubari in my estimation would be coming from someone who is a highly educated and highly competent massage practitioner with a definitive gift for the healing arts.
