On Friday morning July 26th, I was panicked after seeing so much blood in my dog’s pee. The clinic staff invited me to drive right over and staff would try to fit me in with a doctor. Dr. Markijohn met us in the waiting area to take a quick look at my dog. Shortly thereafter, a vet tech escorted us to an exam room, asked some health questions, and took away my dog to collect a urine sample for analysis. After an exam, x-rays, lab analysis, and diagnosis, we got two prescriptions (antibiotic & pain relief) for my dog’s UTI and departed relieved and thankful for such good customer service. I absolutely love this Vet clinic! Everyone is extremely friendly, professional and competent. From the time I walk in the door to the time I leave it is always a pleasant experience. They have a solid staff here. My dogs, Riley and Sadie, are getting older (14 and 10) and some health concerns are starting to come up. The Vets always give me their undivided & non-rushed attention, answer all of my questions, explain things thoroughly and always give me several options. I never feel like they are "pushing" treatments, surgeries, meds, etc. I truly feel the Veterinarians at Harris Vet Clinic put my dogs' & my best interests first. i called this vet clinic and noticed the staff is sooooo sweet then i called one more time to check in about some medicine for my guinea pig and all i heard was a man saying "i honestly dont know" he sounded so board and mean BUT! !!!!!! that is only one person out of the whole clinic i do recomend this clinic for the area i just wish that man had mor energy to make me feel like i am making the right choise of going to this clinic More...

I am extremely pleased with the staff and the work performed. I recently took my two dogs in for their yearly physicals, as well as dental work for one of them. One of my dogs has anxiety and can be fearful, which becomes pretty intense when visiting any veterinary clinic. The first time we visited this office, they introduced us to "happy visits" and also took the time to educate us on various other methods to improve her association with veterinary clinics. The next couple of visits were for my other dog, but they made sure to give the one with anxiety plenty of attention (and treats). By the 4th visit, she's already improved SIGNIFICANTLY all thanks to the CARING and PATIENT staff at Harris Boulevard Veterinary Clinic. I was also very nervous about taking my other senior aged dog in for dental work (because of the anesthesia and needed tooth extraction), but once again Doctor Gold made all of my fears go away. Only been here once but I love Dr. Gold. He took time to make my dogs comfortable, got on the floor with them to give their shots and didn't push them. He understands their moods. Got back to me quickly on tests and prices were reasonable (for Charlotte). Update: since my first review I now have seen all the Dr.s on staff and they are all wonderful. I also like how there is very little staff turnover with the Techs and the front desk staff. Very caring and compassionate when you have to let a loved one cross the rainbow bridge. This vet has been extremely kind to us. We moved to the area a little under two years ago, and they were the closest vet. Good reviews had us excited, and they didn't disappoint . They were extremely kind to both our animals, and provided us analysis on our little weird one that no other vet had pointed out (an existing condition we were unaware of.) We unfortunately moved far enough away a visit there would become a huge chore, and when we requested their documents (to provide to our new vet,) they responded in kind just minutes after the request. First visit yesterday and we were very impressed with the quality of service and care. They made sure the room was clean before we entered, the vet was knowledgeable and reach my dog from the floor. I want to thank everyone at Harris Vet Clinic, they were very kind, and patient with me. Selma contracted a parasite, and was perscribed medication in liquid and pill form for ten days. Well, I was having trouble getting the liquid in her. They told me to bring her in, and they would show me again. Then offered to give her the medication daily, if I would bring Selma in. Our dog Laila has been coming here for 11 years (since we got her as a puppy). Last year our girl became pretty sick out of nowhere and we thought we were going to have to put her down. Dr. Markijohn and Dr. Gold were able to figure out what was wrong and helped make our experience the best it could be. It took a couple of months of treatment but she is back to her spunky old self. First, Everyone at this Vet's goes out of their way to make things good for our pets. Lacey and Natasha like the boarding staff, and seem glad to see them.
