Ravvast Peace in so cal
We just went here for the first time for a photo shoot with santa. It was so fantastic. My son who is on the spectrum was able to have a no hassle experience in a great atmosphere. Everyone involved was so nice and did so well adjusting to my son's needs. This was a sponsored event by some awesome members of our community. They had all sorts of props you could use and we even were able to construct an impromptu fruit bowl for my shot! They did some headshots for my website and I walked away with several great options. Kira and Nate made us feel at home from the moment we entered their studio. They photographed our daughter's senior pictures and since she is our third child to graduate HS we just didn't want her pictures to look exactly like her siblings or in fact like ALL the senior photos we've have received in the mail throughout our parenting lives. Call us jaded, but seen them all and were tired of it. Looking at their portfolio was a breath of fresh air! Our session with them was fun, creative and our daughter felt super comfortable, encouraged and appreciated. WOW, we just came out of her session with the biggest smile ever and a sense of anticipation to see her photos realized. We KNOW her photos will be creative, artistic and SO our daughter! Kira and Nate WANTED to know who she was, what her interest were and what SHE WANTED to do. We loved working with them and highly recommend the experience to anyone looking for a creative perspective. From my very first interaction, Kira and Nate made me feel at ease and well-cared for. I can't say enough good things about them -- as a team they are artists, technicians and simply excellent humans. Kira and I had a long conversation about what I was looking to accomplish with the photos, she learned all about the background of my business and who my ideal customers are -- together we came up with a plan to create portraits that would really resonate, not just "pretty pictures." Through a series of about 4 emails, she gave me specific clothing recommendations, discussed locations and items to include in the shoot. When I got to the studio, the atmosphere was relaxed but still totally professional -- their equipment is bonkers and they are skilled professionals who know how to use it. This felt very different from having a friend with a DSLR grab a few posed shots outside, this was next level. They work together efficiently from a creative and technical standpoint which was just fun to observe! They knew I was uncomfortable in front of the camera and helped me get used to the click-click-click without making me feel rushed or like I was wasting their time. I returned 6 days later to review the shots on the large screen and pick the finals which took another hour in the studio -- again, I never felt rushed. My son was getting married in Fort Collins in September 2012 and my daughter found Harper Point while researching local photographers. We met with the owners, Nate and Kira in their beautiful Old Town Fort Collins location, which was an old garage renovated into a professional photography studio and we were instantly captivated by their unique artistic point of view. Our initial meeting was very thorough – they showed us a portfolio of their work – we described our needs and they described what they would charge and what we could expect to receive. We hired them on the spot to provide photography services at three different wedding events and we received full rights to high resolution and web sized digital copies (with touch-ups), and they also designed a hard bound book that we were able to distribute as souvenir gifts. The wedding photographs exceeded our expectations. They were artistic, uncontrived, atypical and they perfectly captured the beauty and colors of the wedding events. They were so spectacular that Confetti Magazine contacted us and asked if we would be willing to let them feature our wedding in their 2013 Publication “Best Parties of the Year”. A few months later, we were contacted by London bridal magazine asking if they could also feature our wedding photos. In addition to that, we had family members who were so impressed by the photographs, they hired Harper Point to fly to New Delhi, India and photograph another large, multiple-event wedding. After my experience with Nate and Kira for the wedding photos, I realized I had found very special talent and I have since hired them for seven photoshoots in the last five years for headshots, cooking class photos, cookbook recipe photos, marketing photos, and health & healing photos. All photoshoots were shot on location at my home and Nate and Kira have always been very professional, positive, respectful and kind. I have loved working with them and the quality of their photographs never ceases to amaze and inspire me. I would recommend Harper Point to anyone looking for unique, artistic photos that you don’t see every day. I can't tell you in words how amazing they are! During the holidays despite the devastating wild fires, they invited us families with special needs children (and their siblings) to visit Santa and receive an image. I didn't know what to expect. I can tell they have a passion for art and want to share everything they have, there's something so special about them. Nate and Kira are amazing ! They did my step daughters senior picture shoot today . They made her feel like a rock star. Harper Point Photography is the absolute best!!! The incredible headshots they took give my website a clean, modern and professional look. When we first sat down, I wasn't sure of the direction I wanted to go, but Kira and Nate took a ton of time brainstorming the look, feel, and concept of my business to come up with a website that is unique to my personality. They captured the essence of who I am 100% I have to say I was a little apprehensive to do a photo shoot, but Kira and Nate put me at ease and I ended up having so much fun. HarperPoint was absolutely one of the BEST decisions that we could have made for our wedding day! Their photos are super fun and creative and they were also able to capture the emotion of the entire day. That was one of the main reasons why we loved HP. You can tell from their portfolio that they do a wonderful job of conveying the story of the couple. Kira and Caleb were SOOOOOO much fun to work with!! They were so laid back that it was easy for us just to be ourselves and none of our smiles were forced at all. I cannot say enough good things about them and neither could our guests.
