Debbie cured my fear of flying. Read no further--book your appointment. I mean it. I'd been freaking out on planes for years, and it had been getting worse with time. It can be longer for other people, but for me, one session with Debbie was all it took. I had a short flight the following day, from SD to SF. I was fine. No crazy anxiety, no sweaty palms, no scary thoughts racing through my head. Last month I flew to Spain, and enjoyed the flight. More...

I was referred to Debbie for assistance with interview preparation and job mentoring.  Debbie was incredible at understanding my strengths and weaknesses and catered our sessions to my specific needs.  While providing overall coaching on my visual and audible presentation abilities, she was also excellent at digging deeper into how I could present my skills and abilities as unmatched by any other candidate.  Debbie provided the direct feedback I needed while also offering advice that built me up as a person.  I cannot thank her enough for the support and would recommend Debbie to anyone who needs coaching, mentoring, interview support, or even as just someone to talk too. I had never been to hypnotherapy before so I was a bit nervous. But there was no need, Debbie was incredible, she answered all my questions and patiently discussed all issues that I wanted to focus on. She helped me get to 'the root' of several personal challenges and in the end I had a very moving, transformative experience. I had been skeptical about whether hypnotherapy would help in easing my issues w depression and self esteem. After a series of sessions w Debbie, her expertise, compassionate demeanor, and comforting words have changed my perspective on how to view myself. She has made a positive impact in my life.I had also discovered that Debbie offers meditative walks up Torrey Pines. I was introduced to this trail which offers a breathtaking view of the San Diego coastline. Her exercises along the path are not only good for the body but good for the soul. Debbie Seid is a certified executive and life coach with over 30 years of experience. She is a certified hypnotherapist and a master practitioner in neuro-linguistic programming (NLP). Debbie holds both a Master of Science degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from San Diego State University. We all carry stress with us just from daily living. Overtime our bodies react to this stress with physical pain and eventually serious illness. Debbie uses in office stress reducing hypnosis to direct your subconscious to stress reducing thoughts and behaviors and also teaches you had to engage in self-hypnosis to deepen the work done in the office and take away a life changing skill and practice.

Statistics show that the majority of Americans are overweight. Its not easy to reach and maintain our desired weight when we are overwhelmed with responsibilities and we live in a world with fast food being quick and convenient. Its also hard to say no to those tempting dishes staring at us at almost every social gathering or event. Hypnosis is proven to reduce food cravings and overeating, which results in a significant ability to lose and maintain desired weight. When the difficulty in losing weight and maintaining it is tied to childhood trauma or unknown limiting beliefs around weight, Debbie uses her skills in regression hypnotherapy and dreamwork to uncover and release subconscious blocks to success.

Feels of reduced self-confidence can result periodically from being treated poorly by someone, performing below our own or other’s expectations on a specific task and evenby our own limiting beliefs. This is normal. However, when low self-confidence is a constant companion, life becomes unnecessarily difficult and less joyful. Debbie uses a combination of behavioral modification, in office hypnosis and at home self-hypnosis to produce lasting results.

Most people live with fears and phobias without realizing that there is a very simple technique to eliminate them entirely. Most fears and phobias stem from an early experience and memory that fails to move on from the amygala, where it originatedand on to the neocortexx via the hypothalamus.. Instead, the memory gets stuck in the amydala, and continues to trigger us in a way that seems irrational. Whether it is public speaking, flying, closed space, heights, spiders, dogs etc., the feeling is the same - sheer terror or at best a lot of discomfort. Debbie uses an NLP technique called The Fast Phobia Cure which can be completed on one session as a stand alone service or can be incorporated into a longer program with broader life goals.
