Hi, I'm James Nochimson, DPT, CSCS! I'm a physical therapist and personal trainer serving the Fort Lauderdale area who works with individuals and groups to help them reach their fitness goals. My clientele is very broad based. I've worked with beginners having little or no background in nutrition/exercise to advanced athletes for whom I've designed intense workouts and provided specialized training for upcoming events.

Jim is simply superb , his methods of practice and training kept me motivated always. Workouts are planned for 45 mins , which covers everything in that particular day depending on which activity we do (chest, arms, legs, shoulders, abs etc) . I have been working with James since few months. I have been able to lost 6 pounds and reduced my body fat percentage from 29% to 22. 5%. The expertise and guidance he’s provided through my strength training have been amazing. James is always encouraging and has great knowledge about his profession. His persistence keeps me focused. I recommend James to be your personal trainer because he has helped me to lose over 40 pounds on his program. He will understand if you have a bad day here and there, but his ultimate goal is to get you in shape and feeling good.

Over the years I have had a half dozen trainers trying to find the one that would help me reach my goals without aggravating my injury, all of them fell short. No matter how hard I thought I researched or how clear I made my limitations to them I always ended up out of commission and at the doctor.I cannot put into words how happy I am that I was able to find James, with his background in Physical Therapy he has been able to not only get me to workout without too much pain but has also taken the time to explain and help me better understand my injury. He is also the first trainer to really work with me on my nutrition he doesn't just ask what I ate he wants to see the numbers and adjusts them as needed. James has been my trainer for about seven months and I have seen awesome results. He got me into great shape for a dive trip in the Fall and we are working toward another trip in the summer. James is very respectful of your time and fitness goals. These are not cookie cutter workouts. His knowledge of nutrition and physiology comes from years of study which he seamlessly incorporates into the fitness goals. I have worked out 4 days a week with James for 5 years, he very knowligble in physical training and nutrition. I deal with a shoulder issue and he has been able to work around it and push me in every workout session.

My experience's with Jim have been nothing but positive. He was extremely responsive to my scheduling needs, often compensating at the final hour without any complaints. When I revised my fitness goals, he would always prepare accordingly introducing new routines and pieces of equipment to work with. He pushed me when necessary but still maintained a sense of caution when I was nursing an injury. His experience as a PT was vital in incorporating new stretches or exercise methods to help me gain the most from my workouts. I highly recommend, especially when considering his flexible pricing. I was very nervous changing trainers and did a lot of research before I started working out with James in January. He was quick to respond to all my questions and concerns. During sessions, he knows how to push when I need it or has a corny joke ready to make me laugh. I've struggled with lower back problems, he easily adapts and modifies exercises to meet my needs. If you are looking for someone who is well informed in the fitness industry and knows what to do to help you reach your goals than he is the guy for you. I have been training with Jim about 2 months now and coming straight to the topic here,

- He keeps me motivated about working out and following diet plans.
- He has ways around injuries(I am saying this as I have bad shoulder, elbow, back and knees even before I started training with him and work outs are going great)
- He is flexible about timings.
- He is totally passionate about being a personal trainer.
- HE KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING AND HE IS VERY GOOD AT IT.

Everyone is different, but the key to help people achieve their goals is based on individualized based plans based on their current needs.

Consistency and following the individualized plan created for the the client.

I love when my clients tell me they did something they were not able to do before. Whether it's going for a run with their kids or fitting in a pair of jeans they couldn't fit into in years really makes this job worth it.

I like helping people and doing it by the way I deem necessary. I don't push unwanted supplements or quick fix diets. I have a passion for what I do and going on my own was the best decision I've ever made.

I have vast knowledge of the musculoskeletal system and have my doctorate in physical therapy. I try to keep things entertaining and fun.
