Q&As

I love seeing people work through their issues and coming out feeling better, more successful, less stressed, and more confident. Seeing the dynamic change that people can go through is truly inspiring. I love working with my clients because they inspire me and my growth. I learn a lot from my clients. They aren't just learning from me.

It is something I always wanted to do, but when the practice I worked for closed down, I thought this was the next best step. It is has been a wild journey that has been exhilarating, stressful, rewarding, and ultimately the best thing I could have done.

Because I am compassionate, ethical, focused on you and your goals, and I don't just see you as a client, I see you. I want to help you, and I will find solutions that work best, not just what has worked for many. I will care about you and work for you to the best of my abilities.

Yes, I provide services remotely using a HIPAA compliant platform called Simple Practice. This is a platform for therapists, and they make it really easy to send a link and the client to log in when it is the designated time.

Once COVID hit, I could seamlessly move into a remote capacity because of the platform I had been using called Simple Practice. I had everything I needed already in one place and just needed to access the virtual option.

Services

Helping couples improve communication, trust, bonds, and overall relationship satisfaction. When we engage in couples' counseling, we are not there to take sides or place blame. The relationship is the client and we aim to help you make improvements and feel better moving through tough moments.

All relationships look different. We are not here to judge you. We are open to all!

Therapy is not a one size fits all, so it is important for us to get to know you so that we can better help you through your journey of learning coping skills, processing hurt, managing stressors, and ultimately feel less bogged down by your emotions and thoughts. We utilize strategies such as CBT,DBT, meditation, emotion regulation techniques, solution focused exercises, and more depending on what you, the individual, needs.

This is an in person service and is offered only for those people who feel they need more intensive help with managing their anxiety or insomnia symptoms. This is a way to help your brain to retrain the frequencies in order to manage emotions, calm the mind and body, feel more relaxed, and sleep better. Neurofeedback sessions are 45 minutes and requires at least 20-40 sessions. Sessions start off twice a week and can taper down as time goes on. Neurofeedback is like taking your brain to the gym to teach it, through non-invasive measures, to work in a frequency that better suits your needs.
