I contacted Alex via Yelp in hopes that he could help me install a concrete patio in my backyard. He responded quickly, performed an estimate when it was convenient for me to meet with him, and had his team out to do the job in just a few days. Alex and his team were absolutely fantastic. They worked quickly to teardown/remove my backyard furniture and gazebo, demo, and poured the concrete. I don't have any complaints at all with Alex and his team. His price was very reasonable, payments were simple and not pressured to be made prematurely, he was true to his word, and he even came out to inspect afterward just to make sure the job was up to his own standards. Alex and his team were great to work with. I hired him to install drain basins around my home to help prevent future foundation issues. I requested multiple quotes from other companies but Alex was the best value by far and he was super quick with responses. I also decided to have him re-sod my entire front yard as the previous owners/renters did not keep it well. After installation, he even came back and fixed multiple sprinklers and said it was on him. I feel so fortunate to have found Alex and his company, Guerrero Landscaping!  We had overgrown bushes, a front hedge we hated, and a couple of unsightly trees in our flower beds, and I came across their website on Monday afternoon. One phone call later, Alex was here to assess and give me an estimate.  We said yes, and he and Christian worked yesterday afternoon and today; and their work could not have been better!  Everything was done exactly as we asked, and they cleaned up meticulously and left the yard looking better than I could have hoped.  We will definitely be calling them again when warmer weather arrives to help us add plants and color to our yard. I close in a house in oak cliff area 3 weeks ago or so. On 12/24. And before I am moving in. I decide to take care of everything at first.  The biggest issue the house had. Was the yard.  Who ever lived here. Never toke care of that.  It was awful.  I was looking In Yelp.  And I find Alex    ,  I saw the good reviews. And like a normal person I also saw the bad reviews ( most of them of basically not able to provide service , witch funny how people post reviews on that ). I contact Alex.  I flew from San Francisco to My new house in Dallas to meet him. He show up on time. I told him I have to travel back to San Francisco.  He give me few option to do with the backyard.  And basically. I told him.  I trust you.  I want just simple.  And to look nice.   When I got back a week after. The back yard was all clean. And they was about to finish the job. Over all.  The did a great job.  I didn't even felt the guys working.   The did then job. I wish I could offer him a drink or something.  But like I say. I didn't even saw them.  Hey come. Did a quick job. And left. And Regard the Owner Alex. I own a business my self.  And you can see how much he care for his clients. So I had a pool installed recently, but unfortunately the pool company tore the hell out of my lawn (& part of my neighbor's lawn) including the underground sprinklers.  I called several companies for quotes.  Alex was quick to respond and gave me a very reasonable quote.  He not only fixed my underground sprinklers, but took care of the neighbors also, then took care of the sod.  Alex was extremely easy to work with, and returned to our house several times to help w/sprinkler heads and answer questions.  I am very happy w/Alex's efforts, and will undoubtedly use him again for landscape/fence help!  Thanks again Alex! We hired someone to trim and cleanup our flower beds, remove replace 2 plants that were dead, take out a small dead tree, and redo all of our mulch. Did a good job and we were pleased with the final product. Due to the heat, I turned on the zone with the new plants and water came gushing out next to one of the new planting's. Called said company and was told he would come the next day. Showed up, found out when he was digging he had broke a line and a valve. Worked all day, replaced valve, some pipe and never got it fixed. He had asked me to pay for the parts and he work not charge any labor.  I had agreed, so I paid him $80.00, he apologized several times and left. With the heat we've had and not having watered for 4 days I needed someone to fix it. Contacted my gardener, couldn't make it for 4 days. My wife found Guerrero Landscaping on Yelp. Called them after 6PM, they answered, said they could be here in the morning. We're here at 9:15, had an estimate by 9:25. They took out all of the 1st repair, dug it out 3 times as big, rerouted with all new piping, put in 2 new valves, tested all zones, found 2 zones not working, found 2 broken wires cut from planting, repaired, retested, replanted, cleaned up, spread our leftover mulch, all in about 1 1/2 hours. Thought the estimate was a little high, but after seeing how thorough and professional they were I'm very happy that the job was done quickly and professionally. Multiple people had recommended Alex in my neighborhood's chat group. So when I had wanted my yard done I reached out to him naturally. I wanted someone who is always in my area because it makes scheduling much easier. I actually didn't check yelp before deciding to do business with him. But even if I did I would still use him. I hired Alex to change my yard from all grass to all rocks because I was tired of taking care of the yard. He gave us a fair price and the scheduling process was easy too.Prior to working with Alex, I was used to contractors not returning calls or picking up calls. But Alex has his own designer who would keep us updated in the process. Alex would return calls and texts quickly, usually within a day or two. Once I received the home owner association's approval, Alex was able to complete the job in three days (within the agreed-upon time frame).  His crew showed up on time and even took care of something that was not initially included in the quote at no extra charge. Clayton, with Guerrero Landscape, did my design and Alex and his team installed it and laid new sod. Everyone responded within one business day to calls and met me when they said they would. The process went smoothly and Alex provided clear instructions for how to care for my new plants and sod. I also appreciate the additional help with my sprinkler systems as I found that these needed to be checked as well and Alex's team quickly fit me into their schedule. Alex and his team did a great job on our backyard and highly recommend them. Very reasonably priced for the work the do. We had a tree root barrier installed along with our backyard sodded. They are also honest people. We thought we were having sprinkler problems after they were done but turns out it was just the main water valve was not open all the way from something previously done. We had already agreed to let them redo our sprinklers but once he found the problem he let us know. They could have easily charged us for the work and done the job and I wouldn't have known but they did the right thing. 5 star service!! More...

Words cannot express how great Alex 'Guerrero' and his team are. We had just moved into the north Dallas area from a high rise in Chicago. The home we bought is gorgeous but the landscaping left a lot to be desired. A lot of over grown trees, a mess of weeds and overt grown bushes in both the front and the back of the house. We also had major drainage issues that were not disclosed in the home disclosure. Alex and his team quoted a big job of sod replacement in front and back, major tree removal, design work around our pool and designed river rock in several places in both front and back. He also had solutions and quoted French drains (in driveway) as well as around every problem area required. The team was always on time, always respectful and happy to do whatever we needed done.  His pricing is really reasonable but beyond that, his manner and personality are the best. It always made the day brighter when the team showed up at the house.  You can't miss hiring Guerrero Landscaping. I needed flower beds redone in the front and back yards. Alex came out and gave me a reasonable quote. He recommended placing river/pool rocks out in the beds by the pool instead of the mulch that was there. It looks so much better now! They spent a full Saturday here and dug out all of the flower beds and raised up the existing stone edging (was originally too low into the ground so the mulch would wash out whenever it would rain). Alex and his crew came out and replaced my Bermuda with St.Augustine due to having a lot of shade. He and his crew also updated my front flower beds. The work was outstanding from the day Alex came out and gave the quote, to the day the project was completed.  He helped pick out plants that would work well with my shade as well. His guys worked all day and worked until the sun went down each evening. I can't say enough about how well my new landscape and yard looks now. I started off a little concerned because I read in one review that Alex had not returned some messages.  I initially reached out via Yelp and didn't get a reply, but tried one more time and got a response.  I'm so glad I did.  He quoted an outstanding price for trimming two very large oak trees and fixing some drainage problems I've had but have been putting off for too long because of the very high prices I've been quoted previously be other companies.  The tree trimming was performed extremely well and I'm picky about my trees.  Alex himself was out of town when his crew showed up to do the work and I think some directions got lost on the draining work.  However, when I spoke to Alex about it, his only answer was "yes, we'll get it done" which meant his crew had to go get more supplies and come again the next day.  They ended up spending three days at my house which was way more than I'm sure they wanted to, but they stayed until the job was done (and done correctly) which I'm very grateful for.  I have already referred two neighbors to Alex and will definitely be using him again in the future. I hired Guerrero Landscape to literally give my yard a complete makeover. I received bids from three different companies - not only was Guerrero the lowest, but I personally liked Alex the best. He is a pleasure to work with and seemed to really care that I was happy with all of the work they performed. They tore out all of the old, ugly landscaping in the front and back of my recently purchased home and replaced with gorgeous, big beautiful plants, shrubs and ornamental trees. They installed new sod in areas where the grass had died from neglect and trimmed all of the dead branches out of three oak trees. My yard looks AMAZING! Alex was not only extremely pleasant to work with, but really helped me pull all of my landscaping ideas together.
