We felt welcomed the second we walked through the door and that has never changed. The instructors and students are so positive and encouraging. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is so beneficial physically, spiritually and mentally. Being around awesome people is the icing on the cake!!! There are 3 classes a week for $25 so it's a great deal. Seeing my son gain confidence and strength has given me such Joy! My best friend has lost 30 lbs in a few months and feels incredible!!! Thank you Coach Eddie, Coach Robert and Guard Up!! More...

This place is great! Whether you have experience or are starting fresh, everyone is so helpful and patient. Coming from someone who didn't have any kind of previous martial arts experience, I was nervous to start, but everyone was so supportive and encouraging! Come check out a class this week!

Now that there is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym this close to Towne Lake at a reasonable fee, I had no excuse not to start. There is absolutely no ego in this gym; only coaches and students wanting to help me learn and improve. The gym has a family atmosphere and that atmosphere also extends outside the gym with periodic social outings and community events. I am enjoying the benefits of developing a real self-defense capability, improving my physical fitness, making new friends and having a hobby/sport that I can pursue for years and be continually challenged. Eddie and Joshua have all the solutions for both self defense and fitness. Eddie has a thorough system for tracking his students progress and treats everyone fairly with a balanced approach that is perfect for a student at any age. Joshua has a great ramp up to fitness, so that he will train you at your pace while also pushing your limits. I would recommend trying a class with each of them. More...
