I have collaborated with Krista as an architect, as a composer, and as chairman of the Belmar Arts Council. She always exceeds my expectations as a creative spirit and a focused professional. She is an inspiring human being.

It's really quite sad and pathetic, not to mention unprofessional, when someone who isn't a client chooses Facebook Review as a platform to complain about a perceived wrong that has been done to them. This "victim" mentality only serves to make this person appear even more immature, as they are unwilling to accept personal responsibility, but would rather lash out and blame others for situations for which they alone are accountable. As we all must do in life, deal with your stuff like a grown up. More...

I worked with Grass Creative over 18months ago to help me brand my company and come up with a logo. Its amazing what the rebranding did for my company not to mention the attention to detail. Coming from a design background myself… I am really hard to please… but working with Krista was amazing and I really felt that she understood my vision. More...

What makes a great website?
A great website is one that is designed with the user experience in mind. What is the goal of your website? Are you trying to raise awareness of your brand? Increase sales? What is it your customers are looking for? What are they trying to achieve? We help you dive deep and find solutions that solve your customers problem and help your business grow on the web.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What problem are you trying to solve?
Often times, people come to us for a logo or a website, but the truth is that they are trying to solve a real business problem. We collaborate with businesses to uncover the real problem, before we diagnose a solution.
Describe your creative process.
We are brand strategy and design consultants. Our process gathers existing programs and initiatives, stakeholder input, customer research, and industry trends into a highly engaging and interactive meeting. Together, using a fast paced, user centric, and facilitated frame work, we define and prioritize user needs, create desire user journeys, define the brand, surface actionable insights, make strategic recommendations and produce tangible results that can be deployed within your organization.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
First we start with a meeting to determine if we are a good fit. If so, we move to determining the scope of work, budget, and timeline. If we are all on the same page, we will draw up a formal proposal. A signed proposal and a deposit gets your project started.
What do you love most about your job?
What we love most is helping small to medium size companies and startups gain the competitive advantage.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I spent 15 years working with big brands in NYC, all while watching my own town struggle. My goal became clear: Provide small to medium sized businesses access to the same secrets and tools that big brands use to gain competitive advantage and longterm success.
Why should our clients choose you?

Logo Design
Includes a discovery session to define your brand (the what, how, who and why). What does your brand look and feel like? How does it sound— voice and tone? Who do you serve? Why do you exist? How do you improve the lives of your customers?
Once we've narrowed the look/feel and visual direction that is in alignment with brand and customer's expectations, we'll provide you with a "stylescape"— your brand articulated through visuals (textures, color, typography samples, packaging, etc...)
You'll be able to provide feedback, preferences and direction for an additional 2 rounds of refinement. Once completed we'll provide you with:
logotype (scaleable vector file w/ png versions for social media use)
color palette
primary and secondary typeface recommendations
Web Design
From 1 page to 100 pages, content rich or e-commerce... Using our discovery process, we create user experiences that deepen the relationship your customers have with your brand.
Brand Strategy
Our process helps you identify your customers: their challenges, their pain points, their successes. From there we can develop the messaging, communication, and on-boarding tools necessary to turn them from "just browsing" to loyal fans.
