I wasn't as impressed with the several beers I tasted, but the sour was delicious. They were out of a couple of the taps at the time as well, so I missed a couple more that I might have liked. They have a fantastic location and pleasent views outside and a great setup inside. We tried the cheese curds and they were delicious!!!! I would come back next time we're in Rochester. More...

Obviously I had a great experience on my first visit here. Unfortunately just passing through town. This place could be habit forming. Page was super helpful. She helped me taste several of the beers. Jesse soon became my buddy. On Page's recommendation, I tried the fried cheese curds. First time for fried. Awesome, especially with her recommendation of the Jufran banana sauce (I bought a bottle).Lots of virgin experiences here. Will definitely stop in again if I find myself in Rochester in the future. Nice bar with their own brewery. Loved the Easy Blonde. They also sell 16 OZ bottles to take home. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and liked the, lack of, interior design. Great place for a beer and a chat.

Cool, low-key ambiance. I had the Thai noodle bowl with chicken to eat. It was pretty good, but the beer was what shined for me. I had the Magical Unicorn , a hibiscus wheat. Great location in historic downtown Rochester. Atmosphere is relaxes and inviting with a good sized beer menu, wine, soft drinks and a really good food menu. Our waiter was really nice and helpful. We drove an hour to visit and would do it again for sure. The only challenge is finding parking but that can vary - we were there on a Saturday afternoon. **Update - we could find parking on a Saturday afternoon it just took a few looks around the area. I've stopped here 3-4 times this year when I was in town, each time in the early to mid evening (5-7PM). Each beer I have tried is distinctive, many of them top notch. I have had the nachos and pizza. The nachos were consistently very good - it's too hard to find fresh jalapenos (not canned) on the menu in MN but they have them and the included pork is very tasty.
