I booked a group cruise for several of my students with Steven and he did a superior job from start to finish. My group had many questions and a few hiccups along the way but Steven quickly addressed them (same day) and took great care of us. This was my first cruise ever and so there were many questions as i had no idea what i was doing LOL Steven seems to truly care about his clients and i can’t recommend him enough. We had the pleasure of having Gould’s Travel help us plan our honeymoon in February 2018. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Steven.
He was incredibly helpful with planning our honeymoon and helping us find something we wanted that was within our budget. We met with him several times and he was so helpful and patient with all of our questions. He is very knowledgeable and would tell us his honest opinion about a resort and/or destination. He has traveled and stayed in a lot of these places or knows someone that has and that gave us a lot of relief about knowing what we were getting for our money. He coordinated everything for us and we were so thankful for that! We had a question while we were actually on our honeymoon and he answered the phone and was willing to stop what he was doing to help address our immediate question; not many people or travel agents would do that. He truly is passionate about his job and doesn’t want to just book your trip he truly cares about the entire process and follow through. Thank you so much, Steven, for helping us plan our honeymoon! What do you love most about your job?
Coordinating travel plans is what we do, but the best part of the job is hearing the stories when our clients return from their trips!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Travel is more than just a hobby, it is my biggest passion. I'm a very goal-oriented person and I put everything into ensuring the growth and success of my business. After opening Goulds Travel in 2010, I made it his mission to learn as much of the industry as possible. The adventure-seeker in me decided to take it to the next level. Whether jumping out of a plane, zip-lining through a rain-forest, tubing through an underground cave, sitting pool side at an all-inclusive resort, seeing the ancient history of Europe, trying new foods, or relaxing on a cruise with a group of friends, I like to immerse himself in whatever activity I can find to better sell the destination to my clients.
Why should our clients choose you?
With my personal travel experiences, coupled with a Masters in Public Administration and a Bachelors in Hospitality Management, I coordinate personalized travel experiences for each of my clients - no matter the itinerary! Understanding that being a travel advisor can be a lonely career, I also created a Travel Mentoring program, bringing together other Travel Associates, and assisting with day-to-day operations (Sales, Networking, Business Development, Booking, etc.).
