My server Trish was absolutely outstanding. Her suggestions for my lunch were on point. She even knew what wines to pair with me dishes! If you go, which you should, definitely try the baked Mac and cheese. Unreal! And such great service all around, not only was Trish incredible and attentive, but the entire staff, checking in on us throughout our meal. I will definitely be back! More...

Great shrimp and grits and fried chicken. Collards were very tasty but almost cold. Wonderful server and comp banana pudding for anniversary treat.

Good food. Good service. Not great wine list. Enjoyed the variety of southern comfort food.

Best restaurant we ate at while in Charleston! Good service, good drinks, great entrees. Beautiful original local art on the brick walls. I had the fried chicken with collards, macaroni & cheese, and hushpuppies. The meal was well worth the slightly higher price. My husband had a seafood pasta that was outstanding. We travel often and eat at upscale restaurants (which aren't always better) and we were pleased with every aspect of Virginia's. Walking distance from the Hampton Inn where we stayed. More...

Family of four showed up at 8pm and were hungry. Virginia’s did not disappoint. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. The food was excellent. We had purlue, shrimp n fish, shrimp n grits and the fried chicken. All were great but the purlue was the best for my taste as it was very flavorful. There was plenty of food and no one left hungry. It was so good I wish I had gotten chicken n dumplings to go to eat as a midnight meal. Oh and get a starter of boiled peanuts, they’re awesome. Go there and thank me later. More...

Stopped in on a busy Sunday morning and was glad they were taking walk-ins. Reservations are recommended.

My son and I had the most delicious Southern breakfast. He had a cheese biscuit that was bigger than a softball. I had two eggs sunny side up and a wealth of tasty sides. Everything arrived warm.

All their foods are locally sourced and they make their own strawberry jam (which is almost too goid to describe).

Strong coffee was kept warm by the excellent attention given by our server.

Everything I expected and more. I got the feeling, though, had I had something to complain about that it would have been handled.
