Clean facility and a nice size! Awesome staff there for sure...ask to see Melissa Astin if you need anything :) Lots of classes offered and tons of machines if you just want to do your own thing!!

Was in winchester for a 1 week course, came in talked with staff and treated me like a family member, would definitely buy a membership their if I have to go there for a longer period of time. The updates are nice!  Had s good workout today.  Some new equipment...not all of it though. I happen to like the old stuff anyway.  Have a look a the ladies locker room. It's open 24 hours now which is great for me....I work out at 4:00 AM so this works for me. More...

All the staff are super nice and friendly, and the gym is very nice. It's nice and spacious, lots of equipment to choose from and the locker rooms are kept really nice. **Update** Lots of good things to say about this place...finally! When I first went there over a year ago, it was almost a disaster area. No WiFi, most of the rooms unfinished, the equipment was scattered about and the staff seemed confused...a lot. Now, total transformation in my eyes. Not only do they have WiFi, but it's good WiFi. They also have added some really slick rooms with another to be finished very soon. The new room (I heard) will have a theater-style setup with bikes, etc. and they will be streaming movies (maybe even the new ones ). If you want to join and get a good deal, talk to Stan. I called him beforehand and told him I wanted to join quick and easy and let me tell you, that guy got me in, registered and working out within about 5-6 minutes (or less) of me walking in there. Since going, I haven't really noticed anything off about the place. Everything seems to be working as it should. The peak times are a little busy but they are officially 24 hours + 7 Days so if you like to workout in peace, there is a time you can do that if you don't mind working out super late or super earlyHappy to have joined for a year since they now also have a way for you to transfer to any Gold's Gym in the country with no fee, regardless of whether it is a franchise or corporate chain!Go Team Gold's Franchise GO! Nice gym.    Spacious and plenty of equipment.    Could use more heat in the morning but overall this is a great place to get a workout in.

This is my gym.  There are many others like it, but this one is mine.  My gym is my best friend.  It is my life.  I must master the gym as I must master my life.  Without me, my gym is useless.  Without my gym, I am useless.Is this the best Gold's Gym? No.  But its a pretty good one!  Lots of space, lots of weights, machines and hamster wheels.  The folks are friendly and place is clean.  Its 24/7.  Its very affordable.It would be nice if it had a pool, a vip lounge, full time massage therapist, a DJ, valet parking, and a complimentary continental breakfast... probably not gonna happen... but it does keep improving so, someday? For an all inclusive gym with a ton of equipment, ball court, etc ... this place has it w an enjoyable workout atmosphere. You know how some gyms are geared more towards relaxing or something with the lower lights? Not Gold's. It's a great place to get your flex on. More...

The gym seems to be going in a great direction. The gym is clean (very important to me) and the equipment selection is good.  The missing pins and clips for some of the equipment (cable machines) is frustrating.  But overall - this experience has been excellent. As far as Gold's Gyms go, the Winchester branch is decently clean, the locker room is ok not great, the staff is friendly as are the members, there are plenty of treadmills and free weights, and so many machines I doubt any one person knows how to use all of them. It definitely looks as though it's a gym that's gotten a lot of use but all in all I'm definitely a fan! Cute guys too ;) More...

I have to say that things are really turning around. The new management has been very responsive to my suggestions and complaints. I even got a personal phone call explaining the current changes that are underway at the gym as well as an email response from the manager in response to my yelp review. I have personally worked at a gym that was completely unresponsive and flat out ignored their members' complaints and I am impressed with the response I've received.So here's the deal, the gym has already purchased some new equipment: 2 rotating stair machines and a Jacob's ladder. They have purchased extra space and plan on expanding their children's play area and adding new equipment in there such as TV's and game stations. They are also planning on adding a cardio theater (yay!) I think there's some more but not sure of all the rest..As far as the exercise classes I am also happy with that since I've taken a body flow class and not only was the class itself unique in that I've never seen a class like this at any other gym (mix of yoga, pilates and tai chi) but the instructor was attentive and helpful.According to my husband the men's bathroom is already underway with renovations and I believe the women's bathroom is next.So all in all, I'm very happy with the direction the gym is headed. I was worried the new owners were just saying they were going to upgrade and renovate and not follow through but they have already started and I have no reason to believe they won't continue. When all renovations are completed I honestly believe that after all my research of gyms in the Winchester area, this will be the best bang for your buck. Right now you can join for $20 a month, I would say that if you got in now you'd be doing the right thing. More...
