I absolutely love the Gold's gym on north Union. It's been many decades since i was last in a real gym. I started a company and decided it's cheaper to be preventive than offer medical. Gold's gym is the location my employees chose. Personal trainer cost is up to the employee. Yes, I thought "personal training" was more liberal b.s.; after all, I've been "working out" 30 years, i know what I'm doing. WRONG! I broke down and thought I would try a trainer. Matt ... I can't say enough about this young man. He knows his stuff! I recently resigned for the bigger bundle, 12 hours i think. When I'm home, I'm at the gym. These last three days he has pushed me hard. I am leaving this review in hopes that anyone who is having trouble with the Rustic Hills location will come here.
I have been a member at Gold's, mainly Rustic Hills, for two years now, and I've had an awful experience the last six month.
After trying to resolve issues with my account for the twice, this week and once in March, and getting absolutely ZERO help from the management I decided to call the Briargate location. My problem was resolved in literally five minutes. All I needed was someone who would help me.
The manager, Peggy, took time out of her day to resolve an issue that wasn't even her responsibility really. I would like to extend a very sincere thank you to her.
If we were going to continue with Gold's gym we would definitely use this location from now on so that is my suggestion for other Gold's Gym members.

I really love this gym. I go early in the morning and everyone is so pleasant that I come in contact with. I can't handle the afternoon madness of a packed weight room, but that's anywhere. Thanks for everything Golds!

I absolutely love this gym! Its always so clean and busy full of staff to help you out.
Yes it gets crowded during the evening hours but what gym doesn't.
Plus the child watch girls are amazing with my daughter. They love playing with her/ reading stories/ or even letting her watch her fav. movie, MegaMind.
I live closer to Rustic Hills yet this will always be my home gym!

Good workout experience here. Front desk is friendly and helpful. Wish they would put in a water fountain specifically for water bottles. Plenty of free weights but could use more 35lb plates. Been working out here for a little over a year and a half and no major complaints. More...
