This place abuses, loses, and KILLS dogs. There is tons of proof. Do your research before you pick a doggy daycare. It says they are permanently closed (on Google) but they are still open and abusing dogs.

First thing I will say is I’m appalled you are even still open. It’s a shame you aren’t permanently closed like google says you are.
You are I’ll equip to take care of animals and it has been shown time and time again. How many more dogs need to be lost or lose their lives before you close. How many pet parents need to be utterly devastated before people finally receive answer as to why you are incapable of keeping animals safe. Disgusting. Down right disgusting. People visiting us can’t even keep their dogs in your care because they will be lost when they live a state away. Absolutely disgusted. You should be closed and working your god damn ass off to find that dog. I am so utterly disgusted with this business. Shame on you.

Alright. First off I’m going to say yes I was an employee of GFK9. I am a very honest person so here it goes. Mike overall is a nice guy. But the people he hires there are irresponsible younger ( mostly ) kids off the street. Two of the older employees only work there for the freedom. Also, one of them doesn’t even like dogs so I don’t know why she’s is there. She previous let a dog pass away because of her neglect. Anyway, the place is covered in rat droppings. They will store your personal belongs right on the poop! It takes 5 minutes to vacuum it up. They pre-make the food over night and the rats just crawl all over it. Disgusting. The employees leave at 6 and not to return all night long while your dogs sit there in the dark for 12 maybe 13 hours . The last week I was there two employees left the gates open to the luxury kennels for your dogs to freeze at night. It was 28 degrees out that night. The co worker that worked there to close that night left the place a disaster. Letting a 14 year old dog roam around with chemicals accessible. They don’t clean, dogs will literally lay in there poop. They steal cans of food and they don’t give the dogs there medications daily. Overall I took this job to hold me over until my house was remodeled. I wanted to see if I could leave my dogs there while I went away but I saw first hand how poorly these animals are taken care of. My dogs Jake and Marty both go to GFK9 for daycare and boarding. They always come back happy and tired, which is great for my boys who are both a year! ! I also highly recommend Cindy for training! We tried other local trainers but with bigger class sizes it was easy to get lost. I have a troublesome dog and I have seen tremendous positive changes in his recalls, heeling and reactions. She not only works with the dogs but works with the owners to help us communicate better with your dog and sets us both up for success. We take all four of our dogs to GFK9 - for grooming, boarding, and daycare - and we could not be happier with their services. Our three little guys see Val for grooming, and they adore her. She always does a great job, clearly cares about our pets, and is very caring and accommodating to our one very anxious pup.We’ve been sending our bigger dog to daycare at GFK9 for about two years, and she’s so happy there - all the staff know her, and it’s clear they care very much. Ghost went there 5 days a week. He couldn't wait to get out of the car, do his duty in the back , and go on inside. There were times, he didn't want to leave, so he just plopped himself on the floor until he was coerced with a treat. He loved it everyday! He made friends with everyone and got along well with the other dogs. I use GFK9 with my 2 dogs when we are visiting the area. We usually stay at the Lake George RV Park but if we want to go out for the day we take them to GFK9. I have always found the place clean and nice smelling. The staff is fantastic with my dogs! They are one of the reasons we frequent the area. We bought our two boys to the daycare offered at this facility. We were camping in lake george and wanted to give them some off the leash time while we visited attractions that dont allow dogs.
