I wish I could give George 1000+ stars. My husband and I were referred to George and being first time home buyers, we didn't really know what to expect. George took us under his wing and guided us through the whole process. He was always available, took our calls at any time of the day, and responded within minutes. I used to joke that he must get so sick of hearing my voice, which he always replied so graciously that it was his job to always be available to his clients. He showed us a TON of homes, and then we hit some loan issues which took a little bit of time on our part to sort through. Never once did I feel pressured by George, or sensed that he was annoyed. In fact, it was the opposite. He told us how important it was to take our time, to make the right decision, and he informed us the whole time of what the market was doing, how low he thought he could get the price, and the competition. Once we found our home, our offer was accepted right away. BUT THAT'S NOT ALL. 9-months-later we found our dream home had gone on the market, and we just had to have it. We then went to George. Let me tell you, selling a house is WAY different than buying. We never felt the stress more than we had to because George dealt with everything. He did multiple open houses, he showed us graphs with the market vs. competition, gave us decorating/staging tips, he never had a doubt in his mind that he would get our house sold, and for top dollar. That's exactly what he did. We were sold and in our dream home in record timing, and we couldn't be more grateful. Though I don't think we will be moving anytime soon, I would recommend George to ANYONE. If you want a very honest, very compassionate, go-getter who knows the industry like the back of his hand, you won't be disappointed in George! Please go with your gut and hire him. We are very happy with our decision to work with George on the hunt for our first home. We were referred to George by a friend. After setting up a meeting he sat down with us to get an understanding of what kind of home we were looking for, and then quickly started sending us information on listings that were a good match both for the features we wanted and the necessary price range. He provided fantastic support from setting up viewings through closing of escrow, and his experience served us well at every step of the process. He followed up on all of our requests to view properties, provided invaluable input while viewing the homes, and moved quickly when we chose to make any offers. During the final negotiations he again listened carefully to all of our concerns and was able to negotiate the price that we wanted.  Throughout the entire process we found him to be honest, engaged and attentive, as well as just plain nice. We started looking for a home in August 2013. I was referred to George by my colleague. I had heard really bad stories about agents and how difficult it is to find a good one in Bay area from my friends. With some trepidation, I approached George. At that time, I had very minimal knowledge about the market. George explained to us clearly the whole process of buying a home. He was very knowledgeable about the market. He was very patient when we made him come to several Open House events, most of which ended up being a no-go. Finally we ended up in buying a beautiful single family home within 6 months. Special mention to his negotiating skills with the seller that made sure we ended up with a beautiful home we love at a great price. There are not enough words to express the gratitude that we have for George. We were "thinking" about selling our home a few months ago and received a letter in the mail from George saying that he had a buyer interested in the area. (Of course everyone things that these are scams…) but we went out on a limb and contacted George. Know and behold two weeks later we were in contract and had sold our home to his buyer. Fast forward a few months later and we are in contract on our next home. George has been a tremendous help in finding our new home, the selling agent has been less than stellar and George has been a tremendous help in easing our concerns and worries. George helped me find my first home this year and I can't thank him enough for the hard work, attention, and genuine interest he expressed through the process and even after the sale! He has become a lifelong friend to me. My needs were not exactly easy. I had a specific budget and strict size requirements. We must have looked at 100 homes. I'm sure at times George probably should have told me "this house is a waste of time" because of the neighborhood or interior condition that he knew of before we visited, but he never once stopped me from seeing the homes that I was determined to see and he never once even thought looking at any house could be a waste. When I was disappointed in one we saw, George always helped me to see the silver lining in the experience and reminded me that no matter what, at least the homes were providing me some education of my list of "dealbreakers". As a result of George's attention to my likes and dislikes as we spent every weekend together, he found a home that he was sure I would like and it had just come on the market again. He said we should look at it right away as he didn't think it would last long. Of course I rushed right over with him that evening, and not even 2 minutes into walking through, I knew I was in love and that this house had to be mine. George, being my practical side, of course encouraged me to look through the whole place and as I walked into one of the bedrooms, I could see the sunset out of the window. I knew I was HOME. George helped me late into the evening with the necessary paperwork and 2 days later the bank accepted. For the next 60 days while we waited for the loan to close, George continued to answer my 10pm messages with what I thought were urgent questions (of course they really weren't but George was there no matter what!). I can't wait to purchase another home. George will always be my choice for a realtor and I'm lucky to have found him. I highly recommend George to anyone that mentions they are thinking of buying. I started looking for a home to buy in January 2012. I had a deadline because my landlord at the time was selling the home I had been living in for 5 years. It was a Sunday morning and I saw a home online that interested me.  George was the agent to contact. I never imagined he'd answer the call I made at 10:00AM but he did and also had time to show me the home at noon! Seeing the inside, it was not was I was looking for but we exchanged business cards and I left to go to another open house at 1:00 PM. The agent that was supposed to be there at 1:00 was not so I called George again to see if he could show me the place. He was there within 20 minutes!! That's how the entire process was for me with George as my agent. He was knowledgeable about the market, patient when I made offers that were not accepted, creative about having a backup offer on a home I thought I really wanted and then used his wonderful negotiating skills to assist me in purchasing a condo I LOVE! Throughout the 3 month process he always assured me we would find the right home just for me. I have to say I was having my doubts as homes seemed to slip through my fingers with multiple offers or cash offers I couldn't compete with. One of the hard parts was having the seller push on deadlines that I had no control over but George worked with the other agent to make things go smoothly. Hey there Yelpers... If you are looking for a top notch Realtor with a capital R, George Saghafian is the home pro your looking for. My wife and I were in the market for a second home and happened upon George at a open house that he was showing for one of his many clients. His ease and professional manner along with his background in the business impressed us both. His patience and attention to detail in combination with his ability to listen to what my wife's many concerns made the long and sometimes stressful process pleasant. He was our advocate when the counter offers started flying and eventually we found our new in the S Bay. We called STEVE KENT on a home we wanted to see.He took so much time with us and was extremely friendly. This was quite a relief after calling a few realtors that either wouldn't return our calls in a timely fashion or were not personable. We also have heard so many horror stories from people  who have bad experiences with realtors lately, it made us apprehensive about buying a home.Steve proved that there are still honest people you can trust out there.He kept our best interest a priority and dotted every "i" and crossed every "t".
