I've been training with George for about a year and it's been great! With his help I've seen a huge improvement in my overall fitness. His workouts are intense but I never feel like he is pushing me beyond my limits (or letting me get away with less than my best effort). I would recommend George to anybody More...

George is an awesome personal trainer. I had two personal goals when I started working out with George: get back into shape after a long period of not working out, and strengthen my core so that my back wouldn't hurt less sitting for long hours at work. George helped me tremendously with both of these goals. My back almost never hurts at work anymore, and I feel empowered with exercises that have helped me improve my fitness quickly. I'm grateful for all of the useful concepts I've learned from George, including better breathing techniques, which muscle groups to engage in different exercises, and even what to eat before workouts for the best results. Highly recommended. More...

Whatever you're doing, George will make it easier! It will, of course, involve some sweat.I started working out with George two years ago, after my chiropractor recommended him. I'd been running on a treadmill at home, and had terrible shin splints.  My first goal was quite simple - run with less pain. George's great gift is that he's almost a cross between a trainer and a physical therapist. He lays out long-term goals, but every workout starts with a discussion of what's not working - and we work on that. And so much more than running became easier. Gardening is easier - the squatting, kneeling and crawling around pulling weeds. Both my strength and balance have improved, making it easier to step into clothing. And other things: my weight, my blood sugar, my sleep, my overall mood. I now have the blood pressure of a Zen master! This is an investment in aging gracefully.George is intensely curious, and that makes him a great resource for all sorts of questions. He is always reading something new, going to a weekend workshop, out climbing a mountain, watching professional athletes. He is always thinking about how bodies move, and how they can move more easily. Very grateful to have found him! More...

George is awesome, very professional . I only attended his class once yesterday using class pass, but wanted to share a review as I liked it. I had a baby recently, and am very out of shape, and went to the class thinking its a mild exercise class, but was overwhelmed just looking at the equipment and the set up. I decided to leave after the warm up and George convinced me to stay and was motivating me throughout the class, gave me modifications to most of the exercises. I stayed the entire 60 mins and left the class energized! Its impressive how he pays attention to what each of us are doing throughout the class and corrected my form many times. More...

I first started training with George with personal training from groupon deal and I was totally motivated after 3 sessions. I took group training for months& 1:1 to improve my weight lifting skills. He is always patient and easy going, but his advice is on point and he knows how to push to the limit with a variety of exercise. I usually get bored with the routine workout, he keeps them interesting and challenging. The gym is well equipped and clean which is also a big plus! More...

George is my fifth trainer - and the best program by far.Why do I like it?1. He's extremely talented and professional.  Can pick up on your small issues with form, asymmetric, inflexibility and tailor the program to help you. 2. He's fun to train with and3. I love the hybrid PT class approach.  I do 1-2 sessions 1 on 1 and 1-2 boot camp / class style sessions.  The individual sessions allow customized work but are a bit less intense, while the great vibe / peer environment of the class pushes me a bit harder.  But in the class, having your trainer as the teacher means he's aware of all issues and giving great individual guidance. George is a rad dude! My fiancée gave me personal training sessions with him for my birthday and I learned so much. During our first session he asked me what I wanted to focus on then tailored my workouts accordingly. He has a creative training style that kept workouts interesting. It was great to learn proper technique and mix it up at the same time. We used ropes, bands, trx, kettle bells, and when I told him I liked doing hand stands I did those too. When I didn't understand how to do something I felt totally comfortable asking George to show me again. He was always patient, professional, and chill. He knew how to push me without being overbearing. I always left feeling energized and excited to workout again. George will give you an awesome value and is a great person to be around. Pay him to help you get better! You'll be happy! More...

I started training with George six months ago and cannot even begin recommend him highly enough. To take a step back, at the time I started the training program, I was 9 months post birth of our first child. I think that the thing that I was least prepared for about parenthood is the sheer physicality of it after the pregnancy. Setting aside the sleep deprivation, I found that I spent so much time aching: pain in the shoulders, neck and arms, knees, pain in the lower back, I was just sore all the time. I tried everything to help: naps, massage, acupuncture. None of it worked. I should also mention that I had had major reconstructive surgery of my elbow a year before the birth of my son, so my sense of my own  strength was limited. So as a New Years Resolution style last ditch, I showed up to see George. He did an initial assessment and was thoughtful, understanding and kind. He was interested in my diet and limitations, but most he was simply seeing where I was and setting a baseline. There was no judgment. So I signed up for twice a week and I've been there ever since. What I found is that he wasn't trying or interested in cramming my pushing-40 mom-self into some trendy workout for 20 year olds.  He wasn't interested in me going until I couldn't move from stiffness, thus unable to function in my work and motherhood.  He was interested in pushing me to work hard, try new exercises, making me stronger and more flexible and agile to help me alleviate the pain and stiffness of carting around a growing kiddo and feeling more strength and power in my own skin. There were days that I got dressed and thought "Let it be over" and then watched the clock - but mostly now, it's become a part of my week that feels like the best two hours I spend on myself all week long. Recently we had a session where he turned to me and said, you just did your whole first workout as a warm up. And that's when I knew that my sense of strength and power wasn't all in my head.  It's hard work, but it's 110% totally worth it. I'm not saying you need to be a mom to go see George. He trains all levels of fitness and ability - lots of whom are way more fit than I am. I am saying that if I could do it, you could too, and if you're looking for a trainer who is totally invested in helping you be your best self - then George is completely your guy. More...

I've been training with George for over 6 months. He knows exactly what to do when I tell him about my goal and goes out of the way to help me achieving it. The workout is different every time so it never gets bored. He keeps reminding and motivating me to work on some maintenance exercises along with the main heavy weight lifting. At first I thought those would be a waste of time, but turned out when I do them regularly, I hit a new PR very frequently. He also knew about my shoulder injury I had a long time ago and created exercises to work around it. Now I'm able to hold a handstand with no problem. I was 1 of those skeptical skinny guy who thought I could never gain weight regardless of whatever I do. Being with George for only over 6 months, I gained almost 40 lbs! Outside from the training session, he would pick up his phone anytime to help me if I have any question.
