I just had a surprise engagement cake done for my sister. Everyone absolutely raved about the cakes! Not only were they beautifully decorated, but the flavors were absolutely amazing. The cake was so moist that I had a piece of cake 2 days later and it was still moist and the frosting was still creamy. I wish I could give 100 stars. Today was our baby girls first birthday party and these bakers did not disappoint. Ashley went above and beyond anything we could have ever asked for- completely exceeded my expectations. Not only was everything gorgeous but it tasted amazing too. Everyone at my party was raving about the dessert table and asking where it came from. It was so nice not to life a finger- they even brought everything to set up the table and placed it all beautifully.

Had an amazing experience with this Company. Prices were the lowest i have seen which took the stress off of the planning. Ashley was very helpful and professional with trying to make my vision a reality. My cake was absolutely beautiful I didnt want to cut it lol. The cake tasted amazing as well. Garden State Cakes has made several cakes for me; for my birthday, my fiancé's birthday, my moms birthday, etc. They would have made me a cake for the induction ceremony I held at school but I'm not allowed to bring in cake . The price is right, the taste is amaking, and the quality exceeds expectations every time.

I have also attended wedding shows where Ashley was present with cupcakes - and those were phenomenal as well! Ashley will definitely be making my wedding cake when the time comes! Garden State Cakes always gets my recommendation any time I hear about someone in need of a cake! More...

I've had such an amazing experience so far with Garden State Cakes!! And I'm sure there will be much more to come with happy faces and fully bellies from their outstanding and delicious cakes! ! Ashley is exceedingly professional and personable. She also comes exactly on time whenever we need the cakes we ordered delivered! The prices are affordable as we used this company for 4 major parties for my family this year and we cannot get enough of them! I want everyone to know about the two woman who are owners of Garden State Cakes. They are dedicated to their customers and all around good people. I was on line in front of them to pay for my groceries. I paid for most but was short 14.00. I was looking for my money but couldn’t find it. I asked cashier to suspend my order so I could look in my car to see if feel out of my pocket. Instead with no hesitation they offered to pay my bill out of the kindness of their hearts. This is the kind of people I want to do business with , loving and caring people. So glad I finally found a great bakery!!!! Ashley did an amazing job making the Engagement cake for my son and his fiancé! I also had her make a couple dozen cupcakes for a gender reveal immediately follow owing for our double header day! All the cakes were moist and delicious! I can't say enough great things about Ashley and Great State Cakes. Honestly, even just from the ordering experience I would have given her 5 stars. She was patient, nice and really went above and beyond in helping me plan. The day of my daughter's party I was completely blown away. The cake was the most beautiful cake I've ever seen. The cupcakes and cake pops were so beautiful and not to mention all of the stands and decorations she let me borrow. Ashley seriously made my daughter's birthday party the success it was. I can't tell you the amount of people who commented on not only the look and presentation of her cakes, but also on the taste.
