This is the only agency that I’ve ever worked with that doesn’t nickel and dime you for every little request. Their team is competent and responsive. I always get an email, call, or text the same day I reach out. Not only do they provide a great service, but they provide results. Gadsly started managing our Google ads in the beginning of the year and it’s been a huge improvement over the last agency. We were working with another agency that was so numbers obsessed, they didn’t seem to care if we were getting any real business from the ads. Eventually, we parted ways with the other agency and started managing the ads ourselves. But eventually we came into some policy issues with Google (that I still don’t understand!) When we started working with Gadsly, they somehow got our ads up and running again and really streamlined the whole account. Unlike the other agency, Gadsly doesn’t tell us the ads are doing great because of some numbers. Instead, they always ask us “how is business?” And after the first month of working with them, business started picking up! We struggled with leaving a review for Gadsly, LLC, or rather, Nicole Dietz because it is not a positive one. But we would like to have avoided wasting time and money with them/her, so we decided to go through with it hoping it saves time and money of another potential client.



When we originally spoke with Gadsly/Nicole we were clear with what we wanted and what we did not want, there was not one thing we mentioned we wanted that she said they/she could not or would not do if we hired them/her. She sold it to us, was very agreeable in pur phone conversations and even added little extras on our requests, nothing was impossible, they/she had all the experience and knowledge required to do a simple advertising campaign. We hired her, paid her in advance and kept checking in with her and asking where were the ads, videos, research, etc. that they were going to create and run for us and everything changed. She basically called us ignorant on the subject, even though we had successfully created and ran our own campaigns in the past and our numbers left hers in zeroes. She asked for our own material that we had created instead of creating their own, which was why she had been hired, etc. We confronted her and her response was so negative that we stopped payment to her LLC. She contested it and after our financial institution did their investigation into it, receiving information and documentation on both sides, we won that fight.



We hope this helps you in doing your due diligence before hiring your best option for this kind of job.

Abel, I’m the other co-founder here at Gadsly. I’m sorry to hear that you had a bad experience, but I hope you and others who read this can understand that there are two sides to a working relationship and the communication that goes with it. And as a team, while we will gladly own anything that was said by Nicole, but we also were briefed along the way and heard a different side. For one, Nicole is also a co-founder and the point person on our Bark account. I can assure you that her intent from the start was positive as we only take on a client if we feel like we can make a real impact for their business. However, I’d like to clarify some of your statement for others who may be reading this. 1. Nicole knows what she’s doing. She made it clear to us that there were both communication and technical difficulties between her and your team, and she was trying to navigate them and help educate you on the process. I know it’s easy to say “well we’ve launched campaigns on our own before,” but you have to look at it from our perspective - we’ve launched thousands of campaigns, and when an experienced director is giving you direction, the only intention is to make progress. 2. On the statement that Nicole asked you for assets: this is a normal practice. If you have images, copywriting language, logos, or other content that you want to use and continuously refer to, it’s totally normal for a firm like ours to ask for it to see how much we can reuse. 3. We did deliver content and put in work. Multiple team members put it in time researching and strategizing, as well as preparing content for ads. However, the failure in communication and difficulty getting the project off the ground hindered the continued progress, and the account was cancelled before anything significant was delivered. 4. THIS MUST BE CLARIFIED: you did not “stop payment.” You disputed the first month of service that was already paid via credit card. We did not bill you for a second month, we waived our 30 day cancellation notice, and you were not billed or sent to collections for anything. Our team put in research and strategic work, as well as generated content, which that first month’s payment was used to fund. We thought we were being amicable by not holding you to the second month payment / 30 days policy and instead agreeing to go our separate ways when you removed our access to your ads accounts. 5. Therefore, when you dispute a payment that was already made, our finance department saw in our CRM that REAL WORK took place, and our team (some are contractors) were already paid. The $500 you paid is far below the competition, we do not make money in the first month - this is a intro rate. And by you disputing it, you’ve taken away the little bit of funding we had to start your project. The reason you won the dispute is because banks favor their customers, not the vendors, and there was no way for us to upload enough evidence to counter the dispute due to technical limitations with your bank. However, the fact you see this as “winning” shows that you clearly were upset and wanted to prove some kind of point. I’m not sure what that is, because we thought we were being fair and doing enough by letting you go without a penalty. For others to understand: this customer got their money back. It was $500. They technically owed us $1000, but we only kept the $500. And had they worked with us, we would have gladly refunded the $500 without the need for the credit card dispute. We had no contract, billed month to month, let them walk away without penalty, and did not charge them for the next billing period. We thought this was all the right thing to do. We’ve never had a credit card dispute before this customer, and we’ve never had a negative review - NOT an exaggeration. Hopefully those reading this will understand that once in a while, a customer to contractor relationship doesn’t work out. We thought going our separate ways was enough, but apparently this individual wants to depute the tiny amount of money we received for our time as well as leave a negative review. I’m not sure why someone who got their money back still has more to say, but I hope they feel better having said it. We hope none of this deters potential clients as this customer’s experience was unique and a fluke, and their repeated negative actions towards our business is unfortunate. I hope this customer also understands it’s inappropriate and personally damaging to leave our team member’s full name in the review. Your one-off experience and review will now follow her name when she is searched. If you want to say something about Gadsly, please refer to it as such. Nicole’s intent was only ever to help your business. Good luck on your search for a new marketing agency, I hope you find a better fit for you.
