My daughter was scheduled for the Cobblestone Courtyard on Mother's Day, but as the day drew near, the weather forecast was for rain and chilly temps. Ron graciously offered us the Rotunda (it happened to be free that day). He and the rest of the staff then took care of all the changes necessary to move our event there, including sitting at the entrance to Cobblestone for the hour before the wedding to redirect any guests who weren't aware of the change. I had my wedding at the Sunken Garden and everything was perfect. My husband and I were on a budget for our wedding, and realized that we could have our wedding here at a much nicer venue than a lot of other ones we were looking at and still save a TON of money since they didn't have any restrictions on vendors! We were able to bring our own alcohol and enjoyed the flexibility of choosing vendors we liked and in our price range! A lot of vendors on the vendor list they gave us for vendors they frequently used if we needed suggestions also turned out to be pretty budget friendly and a quality we were looking for! Our venue coordinator Brenda was AMAZING! My family and my husband's family are literally still talking about how wonderful she was! Brenda was only supposed to stay until the ceremony ended but she stayed through the entire wedding making sure everything was okay. She was very responsive and every concern I brought up she found a solution and made it work! Being a November wedding I was concerned the getting ready house might be a bit chilly, but it was nice and warm! For a brief moment we lost the ability to use the water from the sinks, apparently there was an issue with the water pressure. Brenda made a call and we had it back up and running in no time! Some of the venue's potted flowers had died that week that were going to be part of my ceremony and Brenda went out and picked up some new flowers to makes sure everything was perfect. We got married in the fall and there were a ton of leaves falling, the whole Lauxmont staff made sure the pool and fountain looked perfect so we didn't have any brown leaves or anything places they shouldn't have been, I was very impressed! Leading up to the wedding I felt like I had a ton of questions I would think of new ones everyday, the staff was always responsive and very prompt and I never felt like I was bothering them. Lauxmont farms advertises that they are just a venue, and they made sure we knew a head of time, so we had to supply our own table clothes and things like that. Since there weren't any limitations on what vendors we could use, we were able to have a wedding we wanted in our budget at a venue I felt surprised we were able to afford factoring in the no restrictions on vendors (especially the caterer). I had 152 people at my wedding and quite a few of the guest I've spoken to have told me that it's probably the best wedding they've ever been to. If you're okay doing a bit more work like buying table clothes and things of that nature, than Lauxmont farms is a great choice, I'm so happy I went with them! The total length of my engagement was only 5 months and we didn't have any problem getting everything we needed before the day even with some additional work we had to do. More...

Lauxmont Farms is BEAUTIFUL! I couldn't believe how pretty the little house was for the bridal party to get ready in. There was a lot of natural light are areas on the grounds for photos. We had an outstanding experience with Lauxmont Farms! Just got married at the Rotunda on 10/21/18. The views and scenery are phenomenal but beyond that, the staff did everything they could to make our day happen. I had a great experience booking with Lauxmont. It's unfortunate to read that others have not had the same experience. PLEASE do not let negative comments deter you from booking at this location. It is absolutely gorgeous and worth the money for your special day. I have experience working in event coordinating and know what a hassle it can be to book a venue. While my expectations weren't high, the management and staff did blow me away. The coordinator made sure to equip the space with everything that I needed (within my budget). We got married at the Rotunda on Friday, 8/24/18 and couldn’t have been happier. The staff was extremely helpful on the day of. Alyssa asked us multiple times if there was anything we needed or how she could help. Ron answered every phone call i made after hours leading up to our day and was extremely accommodating. Lauxmont Farms is THE most beautiful setting in York County to create that incredible lifelong memory...whether it be a wedding celebration or as in our family's case, a surprise 50th wedding anniversary. Thank you so much to the Kohr family and Lauxmont staff for taking care of us and making sure own family had the perfect night! Our parents are still on cloud nine remembering it...all the way back to how they were engaged on the river just a few miles away =) God made sure we had a gorgeous break in the rainy week to enjoy the green fields, stunning Susquehanna river views and beautiful horses grazing on the hillsides. We had thee best time at the Rotunda at Lauxmont Farms!! What a view. I don't believe our Event could have gone better. All went smoothly. Management was more than helpful with our needs and our guest's demands. With about 100 people, the staff were attentive and personable. Did I say the place was gorgeous? Absolutely, gorgeous! All of our guests had an incredible time. The Lauxmont Staff had 2 fires lit and blazing at the crack of dark. Was part of a 65th birthday this past Sunday 7-10-16! This location is one of those places that leave u speechless the beauty, the peace, the love, all within are exquisite and breathtaking. . Perfect Double Wedding at Lauxmont farms, we didn't think it would be possible but we had an amazing day! The space was comfortable, nice atmosphere for the families to enjoy themselves, the view is the most perfect one. We couldn't ask for more, for a once in a lifetime double wedding, it was more than I ever asked for. My husband and I had our wedding at the Japanese Gardens last weekend. Our assigned venue coordinator from Lauxmont, Alyce, was absolutely wonderful! ! She was so helpful in getting things set up the night before the wedding, and especially the day of the wedding. I don't know what we would have done without her help! She listened to everything we said, and made it happen so that our wedding would go off without a hitch and I wouldn't have to worry about the small details. She even made the comment that she was treating every detail as if it was her own daughters wedding, she was on top of everything 110%! She even took her own pictures and videos and made sure she sent them to me the next day. I really wish we could have worked with Alyce during our whole planning process, her communication during the wedding was wonderful! Any future bride that gets to work with her will be very lucky! I had my daughters "Quiceañera" back in September this year. We hosted at the Rotonda with 100 or more guesses. The place was clean and well organized for us to starting setting up well in the early monning.
The owner and her staff were very cordial and attend to our needs.
My guests were amazed at the beautiful structure of the Rotonda and view of the river. The owner stayed until very late make sure everything was good. Allowed us to start decorating as early as 9:00am.

I had a wonderful experience at Lauxmont, while planning my daughter's event. All of the vendors were phenomenal to work with, especially Katy Trefy Photography.
I had booked the Rotunda 18 months earlier for my daughter, as I knew she wanted the venue and it was a holiday weekend. The staff at Lauxmont (especially Nichole and Cecilia) were extremely helpful in helping me choose the best vendors for our event.
As mentioned before, Katy Trefy Photography was my best choice. She always answered my emails swiftly and promptly, within the same day. It has been over four months, and my daughter is still being complimented on her photos. The pictures from the mansion are beautiful - stunning, good quality, and classic colors. We loved all of the pictures, and it was hard to pick one over another. I love Katy's work, and we are planning to do more photoshoots with her in the future.
All in all we were very happy with our vendor choices and are thrilled that the day went stress free and easy. Thank you Lauxmont and Katy Trefy Photography!

I attended a dear friend of mines wedding here over the summer and words can't describe how beautiful the venue was. The 360 views of the Susquehanna River in the backdrop during both the ceremony and reception was beyond Amazing. It Had a Wonderfull overall great vibe, things ran very smooth, and the staff really seemed to while to go that extra mile for not only the bride but all the guest. I also really like how we were able to continue into the night with the reception party, and that no one was there rushing us out., or telling us to turn down the music. They let us party into the night, until 2-2:30am, and only then because we were all ready for bed by then. This is by far the most luxurious, sophisticated, yet country feeling place I've ever been to.They have 5 or more venues in the most beautiful settings! The one venue can even hold up to 1000 or more people! Its absolutely breathtaking. The staff is very accommodating as well as helpful. They even have people to park your guests on horseback! The staff will do anything a bride needs without hesitation. They also offer 24 hour rentals unlike others where it's only like 4 or 5 hours. Just spectacular. The experience is even more amazing.
