This is going to be one of my favorite restaurants in Wichita. Our waitress was so nice and let us sample a drink and give recommendations on her favorite dishes. We ordered chicha morada (a delicious refreshing purple corn drink), papa rellena, yuca frita, lomo a lo macho (a mixed dish of steak, seafood, plantains, yuca frita, rice in a creamy cheesy sauce) to share with my boyfriend. To top it all off, we shared some choco flan for a dessert. No lie, this was one of the best meals of my life. I can't wait to come back with my family, and boyfriend again! Highly recommend! DELICIOUS. This is 100% a MUST try if you live in Wichita!! The flavors and quality were outstanding!! I am from the New York tri-state area and this is the best Peruvian food I have had to date! I can't wait to go back. Their fried rice (arroz chaufa) was so fresh, flavorful and the meat was perfectly cooked, seasoned and juicy. Their lomo saltado (skirt steak, tomatoes, onions, rice and French fries) was perfect as well. Not to mention their green sauce was on point!!!! Do not miss this place it will be your new addiction!! By far so happy to have found Gabby's Peruvian Food. Ever since moving to Kansas from California I've missed being able to eat Peruvian food. The food was absolutely delicious and amazing. We had there sample platter which had my favorite Ceviche Peruano. Followed by Lomo a lo macho and a bistec a lo pobre which i forgot to take a picture. The staff was super nice and attentive. I love trying out family-owned restaurants that’s not mainstream. Not only do you support the small local business, but you’ll get to taste the authenticity of the food as how it’s supposed to be. Enjoyed it a lot. My wife and I had a very enjoyable lunch there today. Service was good though it took a bit of time to get food.
