Ive been going to Erin for over 5 years. I always get a highlight and cut, and it's always perfect. I will ask for something slightly different each time and she always has fresh ideas. Each time the color is gorgeous and the cut is exactly what I'm looking for. I have blonde hair and a couple years ago I thought I wanted to go a bit darker. The color itself was stunning, but I wasn't used to it on me and didn't end up liking it much. I was hesitant to call (I mean it was my fault and she's the absolute best, I didn't want to be that person) but I am so glad I did. She had me come back in and she fixed it and it was perfect. I kept going because of the way she was so kind and generous about it, I knew I could always be honest. Erin, did an phenomenal job maintaining my dreads for me!!I constructed my own dreads 9 months ago; being a disabled veteran having several procedures, I wasnt able to maintain the upkeep and fell into despair, asking myself did I make a mistake with my hair? I went online and searched around and had a wonderful feeling about Gspot and Erin.Not only did she recommend some great products(that I purchased there) she was able to fix my dreads beyond expectations and was able to start filling in the back with some more volume with synthetic dreads.Erin answered all my questions, is personable, funny and down-to-earth! Erin is amazing. I have been a client for almost 3 years now, visiting every 2-3 months for synthetic dread installations. I have very short, thin hair naturally and have always struggled with my confidence because of it. She has never failed to leave me feeling 100% satisfied and completely rejuvenated in that department. She even worked closely with me to match a lilac/grey blonde and NAILED it! Hey I just wanted to thank Erin for doing such a wonderful job with my new pinch braid extensions on Tuesday! About two weeks ago a colorist who worked from her basement apartment basically destroyed my hair with bleach and what was worse way too much hot pink had been deposited into my damaged hair. Erin worked with me last week and safely and skillfully removed MOST of the hot pink with a wonderful color removing product and used a hair masque made with protein to help heal my fried hair. I truly did not want a haircut but Erin helped remove most of the damaged ends by cutting it away and a week later I had super long hair extensions installed so that it would make a fun distraction in between the awkwardness of growing out a haircut. I truly am enjoying my new "look" and the installation of pinch braids only took Erin a couple of hours and there was no pain or discomfort or tightness to my scalp. People can not even detect that this is not all my own natural white frosty hair! I am happy I trusted Erin with my pinch braid extensions and will definitely repeat this again in the near future. Erin did maintenance on my dreads today and she absolutely killed it! They needed a ton of TLC and I love how much better they look now. I had some loose hairs that were too far away to be incorporated and they were driving me crazy - she added in some synthetic extensions to temporarily deal with them until they can be started into their own new dreadies and they look amazing. I even picked up some cute hand-made flower accessories to wear in my dreads for weddings or just every day use. 10/10 I will be coming back! More...

If you are looking for a place to get dreads and help with maintenance along the way, then look no further. I knew I wanted dreads but didn't have the time to do them myself so I was specifically looking for a salon with a loctician. When I found Erin, I knew she was the one to do my dreads. She is professional, experienced, and overall just a fun person. I live in the Northwest suburbs so it takes awhile to drive there, but it's worth it. Best experiences of my life in this places! My dreads look amazing. I waited 6 years to finally get them, waiting for someone I trusted to help me care for them. Then, I found Erin and all dreams came true. Worth every penny! She's also always available via email when I have questions or want advice on how to care for my locks.
