Thanks Yelp for helping me find Lali at Furry Babies! I have used other pet sitting services and was comfortable that my cats were "ok".  I still never felt completely at ease.  With Lali at Furry Babies taking care of my cats, I was finally absolutely certain that someone was invested in more than just checking their food and water.  Lali made a genuine effort to interact with each of them, even when they didn't make it easy.  She sent me pictures and updates which meant a lot to me! I called her on short notice and she was able to take care of my cat twice a week. Other companies want you to have them come over every single day, which means you have to pay the day rate everyday which makes it a rip off, but Furry Babies can come as many time within a week as you like, even just once or twice. This is the best and most affordable way to go on a trip knowing your pets are safe....she also sends pics when she comes over which is very nice as well. I will use again on my next trip! More...

We moved to Irvine a year ago and had plans to travel shortly after moving into our new apartment, so we were really in a bind to find somebody to pet-sit for our beloved cat Willy. He's not keen on being outside of his comfort zone (like many cats), so we didn't want to board him for a week in an unfamiliar environment. Someone referred us to this service and I contacted Lali--she responded that same night with everything we needed!! It was easy and fast to work out the details, and they came for a walk through a few days prior so they could get to know our home and Willy. The best part was when they sent us picture updates of him so we knew how he's doing! Lali took such great care of Willy. So let me start off by saying that my husband and I have traveled a lot over the years. We have placed our two pups in both a "daycare" setting and in-home pet sitting. I was lucky to find Lali and Lauren as soon as we moved to Irvine. Lali is super responsive, communicative, and you can't help but love the updates and pictures they send while watching your fur-babies. But the tell-tale sign they are amazing?...I NEVER worry about Hendricks and Stevie. With the other services I nervously awaited for an update OR would contact the daycare to check in...every few hours. I would highly recommend Furry Babies. A few days before our wedding I realized I was in a jam - our pups were going to be in our ceremony but we had no way of getting them from our boarding place in Irvine, up to Costa Mesa for our ceremony and then safely back to Irvine. I called Furry Babies based on their five star rating hoping they could help out. I left a message and Lali was back to me almost immediately. Although my request was last minute she was able to move a few things around to accommodate us.Both Lali and Lauren (who actually did the run on the day) were wonderful. Having someone else transport your pets can be nerve wracking, but Lali did a great job putting me at ease. Lali and Lauren have been so wonderful to my two cats. They both came out to do a complementary meet-and-greet and I could tell they genuinely love animals. My cats seems to be content even when I am away for extended periods of time too.Scheduling is convenient, as I just text Lali my dates and she takes care of the rest. My husband and I left our rescue pup in the care of our dear friend while we vacationed for two weeks.  We decided it would only be fair to have our dog and her dog walked while we were gone.  We were very fortunate to find Lali available to help us out.  Our dogs loved her from the very beginning.  My friend told me she was reliable and very loving towards the dogs.  Now that we are home I noticed how much better behaved our fairly new rescue is on walks.  In contacting Lali, she told me she  had helped both dogs learn good dog-walking skills.  Wow, what a bonus!  We will definitely be using Furry Babies in the future. So it's the week of Memorial Day weekend and I've put aside finding care for my dog to the last minute :( don't do that people! I called three services on a Sunday and only Lali responded to me on Monday morning. She was very professional and I felt so badly about this being a last minute situation thing but she handled my situation with grace. It's a little unnerving to entrust your pet and access to your house to someone you have never met, but I had a lot of faith in yelp. I met Lali and Lauren, both super nice and attentive to my needs as well as my dog's. The whole experience was such a breeze. I have never used a pet sitter before so did not know what to expect, but Lali and Lauren were amazing, they even managed to keep my very finicky plant alive! I got texts and pictures every day, and there was always clear communication on who would see my pet the next day and such. I don't write much review on Yelp but Lali is my lifesaver so I'm actually excited to write her one. We got two maltipoo puppies 8 months ago and they have been getting their daily walk with Lali. She sends me pictures everyday and seeing my puppies (smiling) in the middle of the day is like boost of energy. My dogs are like my children so I don't leave them with anyone but my family and now Lali. That's huge considering I had dogs for the past 14 years of my life and I finally found someone I can trust. I found her through yelp review and there is not enough words to describe how happy I am with Lali's attention to detail, flexibility and love for our pups. Lali is worth her weight in gold. She is totally dependable, flexible, takes care to read and listen to your instructions( some pet sitters, who never got a call back ,thought they could  pull wool over mama's eyes) , keeps you posted regularly with texts and pictures. My pets love her and they look happy and smiling in their daily update pictures unlike other experiences where my pets look frightened or confused .I have a cat with severe stranger anxiety and with a previous pet sitter, he did not come out to eat at all for several days. With Furry babies my cats ate up all the food that was left for them because  they did not feel intimidated by Lali's presence.Lali and Lauren end the visit with a log of meds given and activities.God Bless them for keeping their rates affordable.We are all going to miss furry babies. We love Furry Babies and Lali!  Most importantly, so do our dogs Davey and Rex.  Lali LOVES our boys and it shows.  She is also extremely responsive, flexible, nearly always able to accommodate emergency needs, and just a genuinely wonderful person who is doing what she loves and it shows.  Her rates are competitive with others in the area, but I think her service is much, much better.  Every client gets a diary, and every time she sees your pet(s), she writes a little entry about what they did together, etc.  She also sends pictures while they're together.  While I've given a lot of detail here, this should say it all:  my husband and I moved away from the OC several months ago.  Since then, EVERY TIME we've gone out of town, we've driven our boys from LA to Irvine so they can stay with Lali and we can feel absolutely secure that they're happy and safe. This is one of those times when I wish there were 10 stars to give!  Furry Babies has been such a find for me and my two furry babies!  I've used other dog sitters/walkers over the past 10 years being a dog owner and Lali and her team are the best I've had the pleasure of discovering!  When you meet Lali for your initial consultation, you can tell that she is serious about her business and her love of animals and providing high quality care is evident.  After my first day of using FB to walk my dogs,  I knew they were different.  How, you ask?  Its the little things - they provided a 'diary' where they leave me a daily updates on the pups (how their walks went and any details I needed to know about, etc.) and the awesome photo updates from the daily walks and/or the over nights to let me see that they were doing great. I travel a lot for work and there's always that little voice in the back of your head saying "are they doing ok?" - With Lali & FB, that voice disappears - you always know how things are going - she sends you updates via email and or text (with PICTURES!) - which means you can focus on your work or enjoy your vacation without worry!  Its testament enough that my pups run (literally) up to Lali when we see her - this says to me that they love her as much as I do.  I've recommended FB to a number of neighbors who have been equally as pleased as I have been with her services.  Trust me - you can trust your furry babies to Furry Babies -- and you'll be so glad you did!! I can't say enough great things about Furry Babies!  We recently moved to the area and we weren't sure what we were going to do with our Beagle Tag all day long.  I spoke with Jennifer on the phone, she came over and met Tag, started walking him the following week and they've become great friends!  Jennifer has been extremely reliable, flexible and patient with our ever-changing schedules.  She's also walked him on the weekends and stayed at our place when we're out of town.  It has been such a comfort for me each day receiving a picture from her showing me the fun they're having.  Jennifer and the team has truly made our transition to California much easier and I would highly recommend them! Furry Babies has been taking care of my Chow/Golden Retriever for over a year and half and have been a life saver.   They take care of him when I am at work or when I am traveling for business.  I never have to worry, as I know he is having fun with Lali and his dog friends.  No one is happier to see Lali when she arrives then Cody and that is the true sign of happiness.   Without them I would worry when I have to leave for business travel, but with them I am at peace.  I get hourly updates and pictures of what Cody is up to while I am gone and I know that he is having a lot more fun then me! Like usual, I put off finding a dog walker/overnight situation for my lab until just days before we left town. We're new in town, so I was a little nervous. I found Furry Babies on Yelp, and emailed them based on the good reviews. Within an hour (and it was kind of late at night, too!) Lali got back to me and was ready to get set up with paperwork and all of that. Super professional, responsive, and exceeded my expectations. She even worked around my schedule for the initial consultation, coming on her birthday before her big birthday dinner! Now that's dedication.While we were gone, I received many picture texts and updates on how our lab was doing, and came home to find a little journal with notes for each walk as well. She took our lab on a little run to get her energy out--if you know labs, you know this is awesome :)I've never used a dog walking service for overnights like this, and Lali/Furry Babies far exceeded any expectations. She's clearly a dog person, but more importantly is the type of person you want to be in charge of your animals and any emergency situations that should arise while you're gone. I am so blessed to have found Furry Babies. I work as a resistered nurse and my shifts consist of very long 12 hour days, several times a week. This meant that my 2 year old lab, Gunner, was home alone all day. Not only did i feel guilty that he was lonesome, he was starting to disrupt my neighbors with constant barking and howling. It was getting to the point that I either had to lock him in the house or was begging family members to check in on him and lock him in early. Then I found furry babies!!!!. Not only is it such a relief to know that my dog is getting walked and cared for while i'm at work, my neighbors have said that Gunner no longer barks or howls when i'm gone. And if that wasn't enough, Jen taught me how to walk Gunner without him pulling me down the street. After working with Jenn on several occasions I was shocked that Gunner WASN"T PULLING ON THE LEASH!!! My life is a lot more STRESS FREE and my dog is HAPPY! I couldn't ask for a more caring, loving pet sitter/walker! PS they have a great facebook page. I don't trust just anyone with my three dogs, they're my kids. Furry Babies is a life saver!  I feel horrible when I have to work long days and can't get my dogs out for a good walk or hike. When the girls take my dogs out, I come home to happy dogs :). They obviously love what they do.  Jennifer has so much energy and can keep up with my three furry boys! I think Lali does some dog rescue which she pays for out of pocket too- she really cares about pets and isn't in the business just for monetary gain! They are both awesome and even wipe my dog's dirty paws so my floors stay clean! I don't know what I would do without them. More...

We've been looking for a Great pet sitter for our , Tia - and was thrilled to find Jennifer and Lali at Furry Babies. They really do a terrific job of CARING about their pets and not just sitting! Tia loves both Jennifer and Lali - they do walks, spend time playing, and do lots of activities during the day. We've also used Furry Babies for overnight's - where we never had to worry about leaving Tia for an extended period of time. Because Minnie is part of the hyper but adorable Schnauzer breed, she normally is a barker when it comes to weird noises/people she has never seen before and is just full of energy.  But when she came back, my husband and I noticed she was more calm.  We think the one-on-one care in  a more intimate setting has helped her.  She was exposed to different types of people and was able to socialize with doggies too (but not too many like at daycare places that normally care for 15-20 dogs at once with only 1 caregiver who just stands over them with no interaction, but just to clean up accidents).  We hope to take her in at least once a week for regular day care.  We see the calmess slowly wearing off again, lol.
