We used Furla for our wedding this past December from the intial consultation with Peter and Demetra to the day of photographer we had, Mariusz- we cannot speak any higher of our experience with Furla. The pictures were delivered to me promptly and the prices are so reasonable. Mariusz worked with us to make sure we got all the photos we needed, as well as some extras I'm sure we could have easily forgotten. Love Furla! Cannot say enough positive things about Peter and Demetra. There are a lot of photography options out there, but you really get what you pay for. For such an important (and overall expensive) day like your wedding, it was really important to me I hired a company that had lots of experience and was an actually established business. I know people who hired "freelance photographers" who meet you at Starbucks, can be unreliable and go MIA. Or photographers that do it as a hobby for fun... for such an expensive and important part of capturing all our wedding memories, it didn't seem like a smart risk to take to cut corners. I hired Furla Photography and they were great! They were wonderful to talk with at their studio business location, gave us many options to customize the style of photography and scheduling the day. They are professional and friendly! Furla made me feel special like a movie star/model on my wedding day capturing all the photos I wanted and more! My experience with Furla has been excellent! They did an outstanding job with my wedding photos...truly perfect! The photographers on the day of my wedding (Rick and Rich) did a great job capturing our special moments and keeping it fun. Moreover, after the wedding, Peter did a superb job editing/arranging the album with me. One exceptional item to note -- He spent 2+ hrs with us photoshopping my uncle in to our main family shot. We were heartbroken on the wedding day that my uncle could not be in this photo (it was a legit reason lol), and Peter saved the day! My family will be forever grateful for this effort. We love Furla Vision. Chris and his staff are very professional and delivered a beautiful wedding video that my family will cherish forever. Furla Vision even has a Photo Booth that we used for our wedding. It was great entertainment for guests and comes with a scrapbook for the bride and groom to take home. It was a great addition to the videography! We even had a "day of" video made to view at the reception of our wedding day. It captured myself, my husband and our bridal party/family getting ready before the church and our ceremony at the church. I've never seen this done before. The viewing was such a hit at our reception! Guests were so impressed and we were too! We love Furla Photography. We go to Furla for every occasion! As a life-long customer I can confidently say I trust Furla and always know that they provide professional and high quality work. They truly want to make their clients happy and have always been accommodating. I have used Furla for multiple passport pictures, birthday parties, baptism, graduation, bridal shower, engagement, baby announcement, newborn and wedding. LOVE my pictures (and I am very particular)! They work with what style photography you want and even provide a mix of styles if you decide to do that during your consultation. As a customer with years of experience using Furla Photography, I highly recommend this company. There are so many new companies out there that are inexperienced, end up being no-shows, or provide bad quality images for a high price. I booked Furla Vision for my wedding six years ago.  The "highlights" video that I received from them was nice.  However, my twin sister just got married, and her highlights video was amazing.  Like a movie trailer.  Their editor, Jacqueline, was the one who sifted through nine hours of footage and selected the most perfect moments to showcase on the video. Since my wedding was 6 years ago and since I only had 2 hours of video footage as opposed to my sister's 9 hours, I didn't have much hope that anything could be done with my wedding video that would result in the same quality as my sister's.  However, Jacqueline reviewed my footage and assured me that she's be able to put something together for me.  I was AMAZED with what I received in return.  My updated video is a perfect representation of my wedding day, and Jacqueline was able to showcase the most perfect moments just by instinct alone.  She is a true artist in every sense of the word.  I'm not sure how many editors Furla Vision uses, but I can say that Jacqueline is incredible.  I cried when I watched my video, and I have watched it over and over again, each time seeing something I hadn't seen before.  I never knew how special a wedding video would feel until I received mine.  It was a true gift, and I will be forever grateful that my mom convinced me to redo mine  with their new technology and talent.  They have a gem in Jacqueline.  Even my husband teared up at seeing the video, and he never cries.  Great work! I've used Furla for my wedding and finally received my album which looks amazing. We had to adjust our budget to get them for photo and video but I don't regret it at all. If you are looking for photograpers who will go above and beyond to capture your special moments, then Furla Photography is who you should book! My fiancee and I visited their Glenview office to explore our options for a wedding photograper and we were beyond impressed with how down to earth and easy to talk to their entire staff was. They had tons of beautiful photo books, framed pictures and cards on display so you could get a good feel of their style. After we discussed package prices and asked lots of questions we went home to decide.  For us, it was an easy decision! Furla Photography made us feel at ease choosing them to take the most important photos of our life because we felt like they were not only excellent photographers but they were all SO down to earth, and easy to talk to, as if we'd known them forever.  I think that is important, as it reflects in how you photograph.  John was our photographer and he pored over all of my wedding inspiration photos on Pinterest with me, so he could get even more ideas of what shots I was hoping to get. On our wedding day, he and our videographers, even showed up early to get extra shots of our bridal party getting ready. I got every shot I wanted and then some! Bart and Jon were my photographers for my New Years Eve wedding and they did an excellent job! I can't wait to see how the pictures turned out. Jon was assigned to work with my husband and his groomsman, and he said they had a lot of fun taking pictures - which was good to hear since none of them love taking pictures :) Bart worked with me and the girls and he makes it so much fun! Throughout the night they stayed on top of things to make sure I got all the pictures I wanted - especially some outdoor ones that I had completely forgotten I wanted to take! We worked with Peter Furla and had a second photographer, Stacy. We were very impressed with their work. Peter was creative and both of them took the time to take amazing pictures of our families. When it came time to work on our book, Peter was patient and kind. Anything I wanted to change, he was more than willing to do for me. He made sure everything was perfect and his staff was more than accommodating as well. Anytime I called or emailed, they responded right away. We had to reschedule our engagement shoot several times due to family illnesses or rescheduling and Peter was incredibly understanding. Peter was absolutely a pleasure to work with. We choose to use Furla for our 2012 wedding. We had met with several photographers/ companies and when we walked into Furla's Glenview studio and sat down with the owner (not our actual photographer) we did feel very "at home". The pictures on the walls are pretty (duh) and the albums seemed of good quality. Was it over our budget? YES. We were originally looking to spend half the price (cuz its totally doable) but I was too worried about the "get what you pay for" resentment after the fact so we splurged a bit. We opted out of the Videography due to $ but now wish we had someone to capture those special moments professionally.  John shot our engagement session, wedding photos, and prepared our thank you cards (we received lots of compliments on these). Overall we were pleased with our experience with Furla with an exception...After our engagement photos were taken, we had planned to save money and design our own "Save the Dates". Naturally we wanted some of our engagement photos incorporated in our STD's. Upon requesting these from Furla, we were told that company policy was to release all photos after the wedding at once on a DVD. After about a month of "kicking and screaming" they made an exception and emailed several photos that we had requested.  TIP: If you do plan on wanting any engagement photos provided to you prior to the wedding, I suggest you make this known before signing the contract in order to avoid our headache. John ultimately did a very good job on our wedding photos. After our engagement session we had requested more "fun" photos which he incorporated on the big day. He got a bunch of great shots and had to have been running around the whole time. I guess I had always pictured a photographer being the one to encourage the shot, a little bit of "gimme more, YES, YES" kind of attitude. This was not the case but clearly wasn't necessary to get great shots.We have no regrets with choosing Furla but considering it was our highest paid vendor we also had high expectations. More...
