If you told me a month ago I would have boarded my pets, I would have called you insane. My 2 dogs are rescues with special needs. My two (fur)babies... are my heart. Two weeks ago I had to flee a mold infested home & for the first time in my life, had no where to bring my dogs. Enter Nicole.... owner of Furbaby Pet Services. There aren’t enough adjectives to do her justice (& I’m a writer). She’s warm, mindful, honest, compassionate, bright.... and a former vet tech! She created a world for dogs that could only be described as the best sleepaway camp EVER. My 2 hot messes arrived at night & were greeted by Nicole & Darius (house manager/resident vet tech). Within minutes, they knew more about my dogs personalities & behavioral issues than I did. Though I shed some tears upon leaving (which I promised I wouldn’t do), I left knowing my beloved babies were in the most capable hands. The house is incredible & the staff superb (she only hires former vet techs or people w years of dog/cat experience). The communication went beyond my expectations—all texts were promptly replied to, updates were provided & video & photos were sent. My dogs were at the house 8 days—(again, I still can hardly believe I did it) and they are better off for having been there. They weren’t just cared for—the staff worked w them. Sky now tolerates big dogs & my fearful Katy (who connects w no one) found comfort at the house. She even slept w Darius! I rarely leave reviews, but people need to know this place exists. Furbaby Pet Services (& the Furbaby House) is one of a kind. Nicole is a gem & her business provided me w much more than a safe place to leave my dogs—Furbaby Pet Services gave me peace of mind. After meeting Nicole and the two amazing girls that would be taking care of our two large senior pups I felt more at ease than I had in a long time about going out of town. They were extremely professional & clearly had a huge love for animals. They all sat with me & took time to get to know and play with my dogs... they even took notes! While we were out of town they sent us pictures and detailed updates on the regular. Best of all... when we got home our dogs seemed happy & not stressed. My only complaint is that our dogs now expect 40 minutes of uninterrupted playtime 3 times a day I seriously cannot recommend Furbaby enough. Thank you for being so awesome!!! More...

What do you love most about your job?
Furbaby loves helping pet owners give their pets the best life possible!
Sometimes we get caught up in our own busy lives and forget about the needs of our furbabies beyond food, water, and shelter. Pets have many of the same needs that we do as people... like exercise and healthy social life. Our job is to help you give your pet their best life when you're busy living yours!
What inspired you to start your own business?
After working as a Vet Tech in Boca for 8 years, I was diagnosed with a heart condition and had to have surgery. The surgery did not help so I was scheduled for a 2nd surgery and had to take time off from the Veterinary Clinic. I was asked to walk a dog, Tyson, 3 times a day, 7 days a week. I accepted because no one else could handle this particular dog so he wouldn't have gotten the exercise and love that he needed if I said no. Three weeks later and one week before my 2nd surgery my doctor told me that I had been cured by caring for Tyson!! I've always wanted to take care of animals and this experience showed me that I could contribute more to the lives of pets than just their health. I left the clinic and decided that I was going to provide the best life for as many pets as possible! I've built a team of expert Pet Caregivers so that Furbaby can have a greater impact and help more pet owners.
