I would argue that a healthy diet is the most important thing. Many of the health issues we face today as Americans are caused by poor diet. A healthy diet has been linked to a longer life and lower risk for disease and health conditions. Diet has a direct impact on our health but luckily it's also a controllable factor.

The people. Helping them. It seems very simple and plain but that's really my whole goal with my business - to help people live healthier and feel better.

I've always been passionate and interested in health and wellness as well as a huge foodie (I mean hello, I live in Portland). I've also always had this entrepreneurial spirit but never quite knew how to channel it (my college minor was in Business and Entrepreneurship). As I got older, I struggled with my health and it seemed like my issues were never ending. I never really felt like I got the help I needed from traditional doctors so I began to read and learn about nutrition, in the hopes of healing myself on my own. Eventually, I made a change to primarily whole, plant-based foods and began seeing improvements. People were always interested in what I was cooking, eating, and doing to stay healthy. They were amazed that I could cook food that was not only delicious but also healthy. As my interest in health and nutrition increased, my interest in my corporate job declined. I began to realize how much I really loved and was passionate about nutrition. I decided to get a formal education in nutrition focused on plant-based diets so that I could start helping others and spreading my knowledge.

Because I am genuinely interested in helping them with their health goals. I don't give up easily and enjoy a challenge. I provide every client with attentive and personalized care.
