Short review: Come and check it out you'll have fun. Homestead finally has a place to have fun!I came here after a day of work with nothing to do. I had read this place opened a few months ago and I decided to give it a try. Best decision I made. The place gives the vibe of a restaurant but come Saturday night (a day I came) and it transforms into a different kind of place; one with beautiful women dancing, all kinds of Latin music playing along with an ambiance of pure fun from 8:30-12:30. After a night of dancing (mind you I came during a party however as soon as I danced I felt welcomed) and a wonderful bartender I walked outside to meet the owner (Art) who is not only incredibly kind and cool but glad that I had a good time. It's about time a place like this opened in homestead and I'm glad it did. Check it out, enjoy the vibe and dance your heart out! More...

I've been here twice now. It's in Historic Homestead, Florida which is on the comeback. If you haven't been or lately, check it out. The restaurant has nice decor and atmosphere. Most important thing to know: Get the Tostones! Period. Nothing else to say really. More...

We were so glad we chose FourEight for the rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding. Carla and Karen met with me to make sure every detail was attended to. The food was so delicious!! We loved the buffet set up in our private area. Special thanks to Chefy for his hard work and talent in the kitchen. The dishes were presented beautifully and tasted amazing. The entire serving staff from the hostess to all the servers did a wonderful job. Special shout out to Bianca who always goes above and beyond. As always, the restaurant looked beautiful and made our special night truly memorable. Thank you to all. I highly recommend. More...

What a surprisingly amazing experience! We were a party of 5 adults and 2 children & we loved it. From the moment we walked in the service was on point. We felt very welcomed and taken care of. We arrived during brunch hours and the food was very good. I ordered a bloody mary which was excellent. The kids loved the bacon. There was live entertainment & she was excellent. The vibe here was great. We are planning on coming back next weekend. Everyone should definitely give this place a try! More...

My wife and I visited for our wedding anniversary dinner and were highly satisfied with the whole experience. The dining area is open, well lit, with tasteful decor. The wait staff was friendly and proficient, if a tad inexperienced, but they were well directed by the owner who was present and attentive to all tables. For an appetizer we had the tostones with queso blanco and pico de gallo, which was 3 large tostone rounds with an ample serving of cheese and fresh pico de gallo.  It was excellent. For dinner we had the the sirloin steak and the steak tips dish (I forgot the name).  Both were amazing. The meat was tender, well flavored, and cooked as we ordered. The servings were ample and satisfying. We each had a His and Hers martini, which were perfect for our meal.  For our anniversary, they treated us to a free dessert! (We were more than satiated and wouldn't have ordered one ourselves...but who's going to turn down a free dessert )  We ordered the fresh backed cookie covered in ice cream and chocolate and it was wonderful.  All in all, a dinner for two, with 2 cocktails and an appetizer, was just under $100 for an excellent night out experience. After the swearing in ceremony for Mayor Steve Losner, we were invited to a new restaurant in Homestead. I was highly impressed by the look and feel of this trendy venue right on Krome Avenue next to the Seminole Theatre. Unlike anything else in Homestead. While I didn't get a chance to eat dinner (and most certainly will return for dinner or brunch), I truly enjoyed the atmosphere. I had the opportunity to speak with one of the owners and shared my impression of the locale. Kudos, Walter! Follow up will be written regarding my deal when I return. More...

Well let's first start off with the fact that the appetizers were AMAZING!!!!!  The tostones with cheese were my favorite thing to eat there that night. We went on Halloween so we didn't eat to try the dinner but the appetizers and drinks were very good. I liked the vibe of the place and at that time Dj Laz was there so obviously the music was great. I didn't leave them 5 stars because they did misplace my husbands debit card at one point so I will admit I was livid at the moment -.- def not a good look for a new place. I'm hoping this was a one time thing because I did enjoy the place and would love to go back. Especially since downtown homestead is growing, I would definitely want a regular place to go to. Went Friday for happy hour food was great and drinks were amazing.  Service was a little slow.  We got there at 6 so only had an hour for happy hour and our bartender was a little slow but he was so nice that we kind of forgot how long he took to get us our drinks.  It looked like maybe he was new so still learning the ropes.  I wasn't crazy about the lighting.  It was way too bright!  I had a candle on my table but it was never turned on.  Hubby and me were looking for a little romantic date night.  Overall this is a great place to go for drinks in our community. We needed a place like this!   Owners are super nice they take their time to go from table to table to make sure everyone was ok.  Looking forward to brunch and not having to drive all the way to coral gables for bottomless mimosas!!!!  Cheers! My wife and I stopped and had dinner there last night.  Great experience.  The ambiance is great and we love the look of the bar.  Service and food were on par with anything we normally get in high end establishments in the gables, miami beach etc. at a reasonable price.  Great food presentation and service. Our waiter informed us of upcoming events and music nights... one of the owners (I believe Walter?)came out to meet us making for a special night.  We will continue to support these type of establishments! Hidden gem. This place is outstanding, very nice inside and smells good. The food is delicious, unique menu items with a blend that taste great! ! The service is amazing, waiters are always at your service, dropped my knife (which I wasn't using) and before I can turn there was a waitress at my side handing me a new set. It's a new place that appears to have had a rough beginning. If you went when they first opened give them another try. Shucks, if I had a new place and was trying to get my stuff together I would hope you wouldn't give up on me! Was surprised to see such modern looking establishment in downtown Homestead. First let me say that the prices may not be what Homestead is accustomed to. The service that we received was on point which included the manager and chef visited our table. The presentation was something that you you see @ a high end restaurant! My table had the guava mojito and wine it was worth the money. Food we had the lobster bisque which was great and French onion soup. Salads... it was a salad. The Ribeye was cooked to the temperature requested. Tasted as though it was marinated, tender and juicy! The snapper was fresh and cooked well could have used a little bit more seasoning. Dessert we had the flan, chocolate mousse cake (tasted kinda like a cheesecake) and the chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream skillet (freshly baked) all good. More...

Four Eight is a refreshing sight for Homestead Krome Ave. We went for lunch and I ordered the salmon and must say I was pleasantly surprised. Delish. My guest had the chicken which was slightly under cooked , however the staff immediately remedied the situation. They practically bent over backwards to have a new meal for my guest immediately and were gracious enough to take the chicken meal off of the tab. The chef even came out and gave his apologies. Minus the kink with the meal, service was absolutely wonderful and I will return. I believe there is great potential with Four Eight. Keep up the Great Job !!! More...

Beyond beautiful restaurant now in downtown Homestead!I dont think I've ever seen such a chic establishment in Homestead. Looking from the outside it seems like just a nice freshly painted white building with boxwood topiaries posted at the front doors . Once you entered it's completely breathtaking. It is beyond spacious but every inch from floor to ceiling is decorated in modern furniture, lighting, art work, textures, and colors. It has an elongated sleek bar complete with neon lighting showcasing their alcohol. It is truly beautiful inside, you really have to go see for yourself. After taking in all this space we were seated and waited on by Rita. She was great and let us choose our seating.  After going over the drink menu she went over some of the drinks I had questions about. Sadly, I ordered 2 different t drinks and each time didn't  have all the ingredients to make them at the time. It was okay as I just asked what was the 2 most popular and went with the one sounding the most desirable a d to my liking. I went with the lychee martini. Damn bartender has a heavy pour (not that I'm complaining, lol) and Rita left the shaker for that second drink. He went with a Stella and my gosh it was huge, we were both happy. Reading over the menu was palatable dishes, each sounding more succulent than the last. They really have an outstanding menu but take your time cause I'm sure you'll be conflicted anyway you choose, it all sounds good.We decided to just try out some appetizers and then go from there. Rita came out with some hot fresh dinner rolls and the best damn butter I've  ever had yet. It was an edible honey orchid butter. Not for nothing but we would've  been happy with just this. I'm not kidding, it was delicious and we try to refrain from eating rolls to sustain a good appetite for our entree but between the 2 of us, no bread rolls were left, lol.  We went with the tuna tartare and seared scallops to begin. Both came out beautifully displayed but nothing could prepare us with the taste. The tartare was cut in chunks instead of minced and came with lightly fried wontons drizzled with this aioli, ahhhhhh..it was so good, next we had the sammies seared scallops..we weren't ready..not only was it truly seared to perfection but it was perfectly seasoned and each bite made me only lust for more. This was actually my favorite and next time I will order this just for me, yes, I'm  going to be selfish about it! By this time we realized we shouldn't have eaten all the yummy bread rolls cause we were stuffed with all the starters. We knew we couldnt finish a whole meal even if we shared so we shared a french onion soup and needed to be rolled out of there.  The soup was good but my least favorite but that's on me, I preferred it to be saltier but we were still left content.Pedro the GM was really sweet and checked on us and other patrons throughout the evening. He let us know there's live music on the weekends and that menu was actually upgraded. We had to let him know we had the perfect date night and service and food were excellent. So happy such a fine establishment is finally here in Homestead! More...

My bf and I chose this place for our weekly date night. We were greeted by our server as soon as we walked in. The ambiance is really nice, very relaxing atmosphere yet very modern in style. I loved the decor. We ordered from the bar, I got a patron margarita which was a bit sour in taste but really good and strong. I had 2 for the night and it got me just right. I ordered the chargrilled churrasco, it was amazing. A little under cooked since I asked for medium well but it was still really good, couldn't even finish it it was so long. My bf ordered the crispy salmon a lo macho, of course you know I tasted off of his plate. The lobster sauce was realllllllyyy good. Salmon cooked to perfection. Beautiful venue and delicious food. We started with the ceviche... it was as good as a Peruvian ceviche should be. For dinner my husband had the churrasco, my daughter had the salmon (her usual) and I had the chicken because I figured if they had it on the menu they knew how to prepare it properly. The salmon was amazing and the chicken was as it should be. The flavor was on point, tender and juicy and not over the top at all. The carrots, asparagus and mashed were just as perfect. The churrasco was so good and cooked to perfection. There really was no bad dish that we tried. Not only is this a beautiful restaurant and lounge but the food and atmosphere are great too. More...

This place has potential. I really want to give it 3.5 stars. Definitely some kinks that need to be figured out but overall we enjoyed it and will go back. The restaurant itself is beautiful, great atmosphere, staff were friendly. My rating isnt 5 stars because of the food. I ordered the chicken dinner and my husband ordered the steak, we shared the Cobb salad. Both dinners were slightly bland but could easily be delicious with some seasonings and sauce. The chicken was just grilled served over buffalo sauce, which I wish would've been specified on the menu. The Cobb salad was amazing and was easily shared. And the steak was a little pricey. Walking in I was greeting and welcomed to my table. The menu is simple with excellent choices from fresh ceviches to mouthwatering flatbreads. The drink selection is fairly reasonable with good prices, I'd like to see if they did have any specials or happy hour tho. Nonetheless, the menus is not overwhelming. The restaurant looks modern and feels calm and not overwhelming with bright lights and odd colors. It feels like if I was eating someplace in Brickell or Mid-Town having that elegant higher class feel. The seats are comfortable and the tables spacious enough to have 2-4 people with no issue on space. I also enjoy that there is not many walls or overcrowding in the dining area, making it have a more open & relaxing feel to the space.  The manager on duty tonight is Cesar, great guy with amazing customer service. You can tell he enjoys his job and cares about what he does; which he shows in every way possible while working. The wait for the food is fair taking in account it is a new place so things are still to get better than what it is now. I orders the Lomo Saltado prices at $18.00The food tasted great. The steak was savory, the vegetables were not over or undercooked, the rice was perfectly wet enough to not make it feel like oatmeal and the taste was worth the small wait. Every bite was delicious. I didn't end up ordering dessert since I was in a small hurry.Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable, no loud children, obnoxious music, and nasty kitchen or bathroom sells. The food looks and taste great and the service is great! Very much recommend this place. Even tho it is a little bit on the budget side, it's amazing. Come by and see for yourself, you will leave very satisfied. More...
