I was going to hire Miranda as a trainer.
Just before I was due to start I had an injury to my back and could not workout.
When I told Miranda that I could not work out I also told her I needed to lose some weight.
She suggested she could help me with doing that through my nutrition. Boy was I surprised at her level of knowledge and her commitment.
She was very thoughtful and encouraging during this time. I lost the weight I wanted and felt I had someone in my corner at all times.

When it comes to hiring a personal trainer, you really have to know what it is you’re looking for. There is no shortage of people in the market “claiming” they can get you fit and change your life. But I knew I was looking for the personal connection. Someone who could understand the heartache of not meeting goals, having setbacks, emotional eating through painful life stuff. How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?
VERY IMPORTANT! Although this is essential to weight loss or muscle gain, it is by far the hardest part of physical fitness. With our educational process, we take one baby step at a time, so that what you are learning really sinks in and you don’t feel overwhelmed.
How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
We have an open door policy with all of our clients. It’s our goal to gain your trust and friendship so that you feel the most comfortable reaching out and asking questions. During your FREE physical assessment we ask specific questions to ensure that we understand fully what your needs are and then perform them.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Positivity. If your mind is not in a good place, your body won't be either. We are the BEST at motivating our clients and followers. We even post Motivation Monday Videos on our social media for those who need extra motivation.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing people do things they never thought was possible. Our body is skilled at protecting us from danger and most of fitness is scary. Our bodies aren't use to doing these movements essential for weight loss and muscle gain, therefore our brain tells us we can't. But once you stop listening to that little voice, you'd be amazed at what is possible!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked for a large corporate gym for a while and saw how they were very much against giving away our "secrets" so that the client will resign. This didn't sit well with my heart. I also was meeting people at the gym who desperately needed help and were spending hundreds of dollars on the gym membership, glasses and diet plans that weren't made for them and not seeing the results they dreamt of. When I would approach them about getting personal training the reasons I heard where, "I don't have the time to drive to the gym and get training", "I have kids and can't get a sitter" or "I'm ashamed of how I look and the gym intimidates me". I also met seniors who physically couldn't drive to the gym but still needed help.
That's when I decided to start my own business :)
Why should our clients choose you?
I always encourage potential clients to meet with numerous trainers before choosing one. Finding a personal trainer is like finding a therapist. They need to be someone you trust, have similar beliefs and some who inspires you. It's a very expensive thing to invest in, so make sure you don't waste that on a trainer you don't feel comfortable with.
I know I'm not going to be for everyone, but I feel like I am very versatile to different needs and circumstances, therefore I feel like I'm a great trainer. I am energetic, positive, loyal, honest, trustworthy and most important, I am a really person. I understand working out is a very vulnerable experience, therefore I am vulnerable with my clients so they may also feel safe to confide in me as well.
