Is there an option for 6 stars?!? I have been wanting to try this place for a while. It did not disappoint. The parking stinks but thats an area thing. ..cant blame the bakery! The store is adorable. Waited in line but worth the wait. The staff was super nice. Ordered several macaroons (pistachio was amazing), brownie, and 3 pieces of cake. The Matilda cake looks like it would be too sweet but it is not. It is the best. And I am not a huge cake person. The peanut butter chocolate cake was delish too. Cant wait to go back! More...

I had tried making a cake the night before an event and failed miserably! I called the next day and even though you should order a whole cake ahead of time, they were very understanding o my situation. They were able to accommodate me and everyone at the party said hands down best cake ever which it was by far! First have to start off by complimenting how gorgeous For the Love of Sugar is, from the decor to the desserts. Outstanding customer service and interaction; love how the cakes are put into individual boxes. I didn’t linger inside too long to eat my sweets, but from what I noticed the store is impeccably clean. The price to size ratio of their cakes is amazing, truly worth every bite. Went today for the first time, and spent way more than I expected. Everything looked so good. I came here last night with my girlfriends. We had a great time and the desserts were excellent. We had the pleasure of meeting one of the decorators there named Moe. Absolutely love this place! The vibe is glam and modern, but still cozy. It's a great place to grab dessert and coffee and sit and chat at a table.
The desserts are great, and there are plenty of gluten free and vegan options. As someone who can't eat gluten, I really appreciate that the macaroons are gf (as usual) but that there are also delicious other options like cookies and brownies.
When we were there, we ended up chatting with the owner. She's so friendly and professional, and very passionate about her business and baking.
The whole experience was lovely and I can't wait to come back!

I have to make it a weekly trip to come here or at least have my hubby grab me the deliciousness! The macaroons have to be my favorite. Each is uniquely made and filled with the most authentic flavors and taste like the real deal! The chocolate chip cookies are heavenly and definitely satisfy the chocolate cravings. My husband actually got me a custom made birthday cake made special with all of my favorite macaroons. I’ve also had the specialty drinks like the ROB latte and the bday cake latte and they are delicious! The atmosphere is beautiful with wonderful lighting and decor that puts you in a happy place!
