It was such a pleasure to work with Joanne at FlowersFlowers for our wedding in June 2019. During our initial consultation, I described in vague terms the bouquet I was imagining, and Joanne immediately put together a gorgeous demonstration bouquet with the flowers that were available in her store that day. She described what similar flowers would go nicely together as well as the greenery that would be available later in the year. I was truly blown away by her ability to take my vague ideas and turn them into reality. Our bouquets were delivered to my home on the morning of our wedding, and they were absolutely perfect (as were the boutonnieres for my husband and his best man). Beautiful flowers and extremely friendly! We needed a last minute corsage for prom. They had a beautiful selection of premade corsages for the last minute folks. Words cannot describe how pleased we were with the floral designs that Joanne @ Flowers, Flowers in Evanston created for our son & daughter-in-law’s wedding in August. Working on very short notice, Joanne created wedding bouquets for the bridal party that were timeless & modern, composed & fluid, elegant & yet perfect for the outdoor, fun & funky wedding. The bride wanted a vibrant, loose arrangement of seasonal flowers and Joanne’s creation honored her vision perfectly. For the bridesmaids, Joanne made simple baby’s breath bouquets that were loose looking & lovely. They gave the appearance that each attendant had just picked a large handful of flowers from the field but, our course, the bouquets were all really perfectly composed, in scale and lasted the whole evening. Joanne also handled the florals for the informal rehearsal dinner which flowers we repurposed for the morning-after brunch. These were in 18 mismatched bottle vases and included the most lovely, elegant & whimsical summer flowers. They were perfect and lasted the weekend (and beyond!). Joanne at FlowersFlowers is a dream to work with! I went in a couple of days before my intimate wedding, pretty overwhelmed, and walked out feeling at ease and confident that my flowers and bouquet would turn out spectacular. I didn't have any photos with me to share with her, just a description of what I wanted and what color pallette I was looking at, and Joanne arranged the most beautiful bouquet from my short description. Throughout my entire wedding planning process, Joanne at Flowers-Flowers had, by far, the best customer service. She was beyond pleasant throughout the entire process. Joanne worked with my budget (without making me feel bad about it). Most florists would not even consider my budget. She scheduled in person meetings and never made me feel bad when I made numerous decision changes. Most of her work on the day was perfect. I loved my centerpieces, bridesmaid bouquets, and church flowers. Two small imperfects were my cocktail hour flowers (greens were to be cascaded around the base of the cocktail hour tables, but rather were bunched on one side) and a bit droopy flowers in my bouquet (minor and cannot be seen in pictures). I absolutely loved working with Joanne at Flowers Flowers for the flowers for my wedding in June 2018 at the Woman's Club of Evanston! Before agreeing to work with them, we sat down and talked with me about what I would need, she looked at some of the pictures I had found regarding what I liked, and quickly put together and emailed me a proposal that was very detailed, outlining what we had discussed, and a quoted price for everything. She was quick to reply to any question, and was always so friendly. . On the day, I was SO happy with the arrangements she put together, and absolutely took my ideas and made them so much better! They were so beautiful. For the centerpieces, I provided some of the decoration and they only were supplying the greenery, but they went above and beyond by offering to put the centerpieces together on each table. The best part was that they were very accommodating, easy to work with, and I felt so comfortable with showing them pictures or explaining my ideas, and allowing them to use their expertise and do what they thought looked best! FlowersFlowers was AMAZING!! I contacted them about a month in a half before my spring wedding. My flowers were so beautiful and just like I wanted. Joanne was extremely professional, welcoming, and nice. I never had to call to double check anything or correct her. She was on top of everything from the moment I walked into the shop. I can’t express what a relief that is during planning a wedding. Joanne personally delivered the flowers to my hotel room and they were more beautiful in person then in pictures. We used FlowersFlowers for our wedding, and our experience was fantastic from start to finish. Joanne was always friendly and professional. From our first meeting, she was dedicated to providing us with the highest quality of service. She offered suggestions on different flowers within our color scheme, showed us examples of everything we were considering, and was dedicated to making sure we had a beautiful wedding. She even offered creative suggestions to try keep us within our budget while keeping our vision in mind. Leading up to the big day, we had some plan changes and some bumps with other vendors, but Joanne was more than willing to accommodate and work with us to minimize our stress and make sure everything worked out with our flowers.
