Fitting LLC is a virtual Personal Training and Coaching company. One-on-one Personal Training sessions are offered via Zoom or FaceTime for either 30 or 60 minutes or in-person locally. Nutrition and Wellness Coaching needs are assessed in a free consultation and most coaching occurs in session at no additional charge.

Katie was my trainer for over 2 years, during which time I met my all fitness goals (weight loss, toning, overall learning about health, nutrition, & fitness)! She was a great place to start since I had zero experience in correct diet or exercise so she introduced me to several different tools (my fitness pal, Bodpod, body measurements) to track goals and progress. She also personally tailored all of my workouts to what I needed & kept them fun and interesting enough to keep me invested in those first few months while I was building the habit of working out at all. After my initial goals were met we moved into a “maintenance” phase with 3 workouts per week & working out became something I looked forward to every week. She encouraged me to expand into incorporating fitness into my overall life in a healthy way - under her training I signed up for my first half marathon and attended several amazing fitness retreats! Words cannot describe the impact Katie has made on my life, but I will attempt. Katie is not *just* a personal trainer, she's a column of support in creating healthy, sustainable, and lifetime habits.
During training, you will work your body and your mind in a very joyful way. Katie shows genuine interest in getting to know you alongside knowing your body, which for someone who has struggled with others having so much say on my body, it is refreshing. She so deeply understands that your mental and emotional state affects how you work your body, perceive your body, and engage in the world. She enforces a safe space to speak openly about your struggles in all aspects of creating healthy habits, and she gently guides you the scientifically proven ways. There is no rush, there is no pressure, simply a focus on excellence and diligence.
When I told Katie that I felt my heavy body was unhealthy, she sent me articles with studies that show movement, not weight, is the largest factor to health. When I told Katie I struggled with binging and hiding food, she said to research depravity mentality. When I told her I don't want to walk, she said just walk up the driveway and back. When I told her when I went on the treadmill I could not stop staring at the calorie counter and it was stressful, she said to walk outside or cover the calories with a towel AND she went into how calorie counters on highly inaccurate on machines. When I told her I gained 10 lbs, she said the body fluctuates up to 7-10lb a day in weight due to water weight.
When I told her I could feel my gains and was feeling my body whenever I was walking and it felt amazing, she smiled so wide and said "this is why we work towards this"
As someone who has struggled with weight fluctuations, self-flagellation, body shaming, and keeping a routine, Katie has been pivotal in battling that mountain for me.
If you decide to work with Katie, bring your authentic self, be open about your struggles, be diligent and she will do the same to you. Katie is a wonderful person outside of being a trainer, but she is also a brilliant trainer.

What a love letter. You know how I enjoy our sessions. You have come such a long way both in your journey with ED and body dysmorphia, but after your lung surgery. You’ve been so courageous in facing the challenges with a body that has thrown you some curve balls. I think that like me, you’ll look back at your younger years and say that you’re happier to have suffered so in the beginning because that’s what levels you up of you have intent. How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
I tailor each program to suit the client based on their current fitness level and goals. We create both short term and long term goals. The overall focus is on lifestyle change. Each client is different, but it always boils down to being measured and consistent no matter what the exercise prescription may be.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
There is no real secret. It's a matter a having realistic expectations based on ones genetics and commitment level. The most effective form of exercise when it comes to sculpting is resistance training. All forms of exercise have their place, but this is critical when wanting to change ones shape or body size.
What do you love most about your job?
I LOVE empowering my clients by making them physically stronger, faster, and more body positive. The changes that they notice within the first 6 weeks is rewarding, but the long term effect of teaching them how to work out and eat well is the real treat.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I don't like the fitness industry as a whole. Most Personal Trainers don't have any formal education, so the industry is NOT well regulated. The injuries and exploitation of clients has kept me out of big box gyms. I have only ever worked in academic institutions, boutique fitness studios, and now virtually which is the way of the future and SUCH a time saver for the clients. NO CONTRACTS HERE! ;)

Yes, I only provide online and remote training. I have been remote for 3 years now and have seen the same or better results for all of my clients. They miss fewer sessions due to things like traffic or forgotten sneakers.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I work remotely so my clients can work out from the comfort and safety of their home.
