If you want your body to feel good, then this is the place for you! I have struggled with low back, neck and shoulder pain from my job as a hairdresser. I have always been active and "worked out". But, since coming to FLD, my pain has gone away, I spend far less time at the chiropractor, my posture is better and my body feels better at 45 than it did at 25. I'm confident that at 65(and up), I'll still be able to do all the things I enjoy without fear of needing to slow down because of loss of balance, loss of strength or loss of mobility, all thanks to the amazing people here. Don't wait! Injuries? Out of shape? Don't wait. That's the advice a friend gave me. Last summer I injured my shoulder doing a home improvement project. For months I was in so much pain I couldn't sleep and experienced excruciating pain just getting dressed. So when my friend said I should try working out at FLD, my first instinct was to protect my injury. But I decided to give it a try, and in a very short period of time, my shoulder was back to an almost full range of motion again. :) I was thrilled! And working with Cory and Rachel is a pleasure; they are just the right mix of encouraging and kind, and they helped me safely ease into using my shoulder once more. More...

I've been going to Fitness Lying Down since the beginning of the year. I attend the group training sessions in the morning. I love how the exercises are intended to make you stronger. They complete an analysis to learn your strengths and weaknesses and work to improve those weaknesses. I have more energy and I can move better. I've been working out with Anthony off and on since he was downtown, and there aren't better trainers in town. Cory, Anthony, and Rachel do an outstanding job of making their clients stronger and helping them move better in a comfortable, non-intimidating setting. They're the only gym for me!

I have been going to Fitness Lying Down for a little over a year. I've lost weight and gained muscle/definition. When I joined, I was in incredible pain due to work-related plantar faciitis and peroneal tendonitis, and the exercises have really improved my quality of life! The exercises are really fun (it feels like you're at the playground!), the music is up to date and motivational, and the instructors give really good instructions and watch to make sure you are doing the moves correctly.
