I found and chose Daniel based on an online search which led me to THESE consistently "high praise" 5-star reviews posted by happy satisfied clients. Now I join them in strongly recommending Daniel. If you are hesitating about getting started with a consistent workout routine, definitely try working out with Daniel. I recently relocated to northern Virginia and I had a fantastic personal trainer in Seattle. I didn't think I'd ever find someone who could measure up to the amazingly effective trainer I left when I moved. But I have. Daniel comes to you, on time, always prepared, and the workouts are 100% custom-tailored to YOU. Daniel is truly a fitness expert, and also a really nice guy with a great sense of humor, which is very helpful in my case. He changes up every single session, keeping it fun and interesting, just challenging enough, but not frustrating. He gets it that results are important, and he pushes each successive workout up a notch, just enough so that I can see and feel the difference in my muscle tone and strength in just 2 short months. I have been working with Daniel for over 6 years. He tailors the program to the client. In my case, he mixes different exercise regimes to keep the workouts challenging and interesting. He is very approachable and listens well to feedback to incorporate specific needs into the workouts. Daniel is great. He creates a new workout every time. It's challenging and he pushes me to do all I can, but it's still a good gradient for me. Every exercise works the whole body and there is no doubt at the end of our session that my body has had a SERIOUS work out. I'm getting stronger and looking forward to creating a fit and lean body. "Training with Daniel over the last six months has been great. I have been sore in places I never knew existed! I've seen improvements in places like my golf game and I feel much more solid when I run (my ankles and hips don't get sore like they used to, from what I think is increased strength around my joints).
He's also great when it comes to the pace and psychological aspects. He's good at reading how hard you want to go and where you are at during the workout. But he isn't afraid to push you.
Would recommend to any friend or family member looking to get into better overall shape.

Working with Daniel has been incredible. He is incredibly friendly to work with and does a wonderful job of motivating me to do my best. His workouts are always changing which keeps you engaged, and working out different troublesome spots. Daniel is a great trainer! He is very knowledgeable of many exercises and hits a wide range of muscles in a variety of ways. His classes are great for strength and conditioning which make for great all around routines (if only working out with him) or nice complements to other strength or cardio programs (if training on the side). In addition, the variety makes each class enjoyable as oppose to the usual redundant gym feel. Daniel and Fit for Life Fitness was exactly the motivation I needed! Because my busy professional schedule when I come back home my fitness routine became non-existent. Having a personal fitness expert come to my home was the only way I could fit working-out back into my schedule. Training with Daniel the past several years has been fantastic. I had been strength training on my own for 7+ years and his full body routines that teach you how to maximize your time in the gym is a must for anyone with a busy schedule. It has been a great supplement to my typical gym routine that had gotten stale. With his many years of experience it didn't take him long to identify the areas where I needed the most improvement, and start working to get better. I have had lower back problems in the past due to lifting, and being taught the proper form, and the improved flexibility I have gained training with Daniel has already paid dividends in regaining more mobility and strength. I have been working with Daniel for almost 3 years and he is a great trainer. He designs workouts catered to your needs. The workouts are challenging and diverse. He frequently introduces new exercises and methods so it's never boring. Daniel can always adapt on the spot to adjust to your issues whether long term or just that day. He will push you to work hard but is also supportive as he understands that you are not going to progress if you quit. I have had the privilege of working with Daniel for over seven years. I am currently 65 years old and have always been very athletic. Our workouts have vastly improved my tennis game and have also given me more strength to hold yoga poses for longer periods of time.We actually have fun during our sessions and I always look forward to seeing his smiling face.
